    Received a false AOL account deletion letter allegedly from Verizon wireless. It told me to enter my email address and password to keep my account. I dismissed this, erased the message and put the address in my spam category.

    Asking me to send my password or my account will be deactivated. First Zi did not initiate this. And I don’t send my password to anybody

    I got email where I requested my account be terminated.

    Please do Not terminate my account nasonjeff.

    How can one tell that it is really AOL contacting us. I have received over a hundred messages telling me my AOL account will be deactivated by a certain date. I have not opened it because I am not sure what would happen.

    I received emails regarding canceling my account. I’ve never requested any changes in my account. Found the message in my spam. Should I disregard?

    I got a email in my spam box that says I requested my account to be deleted and gives a 2 pm today to delete! I did not request this!!!

    Had an email saying my request to deactivate my account has been approved.
    1 - I didn’t send a request
    2 - I found this in my spam
    Should I ignore it or is it something that needs changing?

    AOL has said it is going to discontinue my account. I did not request it...what is happening? *************************

    I received an email stating that I had requested to have my account removed. I have never made this request.
