I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data

Why does the AOL AP not update for new activity each morning when I access the AP? I have to reboot my IPAD and then the new activity after yesterday is displayed.

Does not update new emails! Give me the efficiency of the email app that comes with the iPhone.

The iOS mail uses cellular data to update the new mail file. AOL does not. During hurricane Laura we lost internet provider feed. iPhone mail updates using cellular data. There is not a setting option in aol mail for this function. Please add this and the app will be much improved.

So I was using iOS mail because the aol app sticks and never works. Got an email that we’re basically being forced back to it so I downloaded it again and instantly, first try it won’t connect to the server. In short, it still sucks.

Had zero problems with iPhone mail app. Don’t change what works well, for goodness sake! The AOL app recognises my login and password, and loads all my mail, but at the top of the old mail page, it has me with my 8 years out of date work email address!!! Crazy

I have to remove my account and then turn it back on every time I want to check for new emails. I wish new emails would show up without having to go through this step.

My inbox can take minutes to refresh an it’s annoying.
I’ll move to different folder or different parts of the app hoping to speed it up but nope... it’s still showing me emails from 3 days ago.

I can not get safari to load from the app or aol.com. It is my only email so I’m screwed! I went to the dark side and got this stupid iPhone instead a wonderful droid. I’m a *******.

When I access mail on my I phone the new mail will not show up but already deleted mail from previous day will show up again. When I trash that mail the hidden new mail shows up in the trash pile. Any suggestions?

Stop forcing us to use your App. Let iPhone users use the iPhone App.
Stop double authentication.
Make Helps easier to use. Stop charging fee for help.
AOL no longer works seamlessly with iPhone.
I’ve been with AOL since the beginning. I think it’s time to quit. -

This just started in the last couple months.
Suddenly, I can’t access my email unless I’ve got a high bandwidth connection. Unless I’m home connected to my 75 Mbps connection the app times
out with a message that it “can’t establish a secure connection.”The net effect is that I can no longer retrieve my email unless I’m at home.
Don’t know what change was made to the app, but it is now effectively useless to me.
You can make it better by fixing this bug.

Please help. I been trying to sign in but every time I get logged out and I don’t have access to my emails, this has to stop, my husband and I have been getting this trouble for over a year now, since we gotten hacked on our androids, that’s why we switch to iPhone but the problems still going on after we change emails, create news ones, new phones and #s but everything is almost the same. Can enyone help us please! Thank you

The app doesn’t pull my most recent emails - is always at least a day, two, three or four behind. Even if I close it and reopen my mail is never current.
