I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:

1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data

    this new version of aol app does not work!
    I can not access my email that I have used since 1999. I have deleted and reinstalled and tried all the privacy settings but it still will jot allow me to see my email. looks like aol is finished as far as being my email

    When I try to read my email, I cannot. AOL is fraudulent!!!!!!!! Why tell paying customers they cannot live chat/email support but give phone numbers that ring a while then go to a busy sound and hang up? Horrible Service! I guess I better get a gmail account and delete this one because I cannot get any help with this issue and I’m paying, *******!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????

    I can’t sign into the app. Every time I try i get an error message stating “data couldn’t be read because it’s not in the correct format.

    When I open the app and look at. New Mail it almost always shows yesterday as latest and not the newest mail. I am sometimes waiting on an email reply and have trouble getting it

    I am not receiving my email on my iPhone in my inbox! I am getting it on my iPad however I always get a message there’s a problem and then I have to have it fixed.

    The app icon doesn’t show the number of unread emails anymore and notifications are turned on.

    It takes forever (if ever) for new messages to to download. How can this be resolved? Any answers out there!

    When I launch AOL e-mail on my iPhone, loading of received e-mail takes way too long. Often times I have to revert to AOL on my desktop to see e-mail.

    Forced to Use Ineffective App During Isolation

    I would be out of touch without email. With AOL app's email, I'm out of touch, frustrated, getting anxious, and then even angry at how AOL has cut off email access direct from the web- especially during this era!!!

    During this WA St Isolation re: Covid-19 AOL online mail has been completely down! I cannot keep in touch w/family that I cannot return to because I'm caring for my elderly grandmother- I'm so out of touch with my family, doctors, lawyers, and ALL personal business - even those password reset emails. I try to use the AOL app and STILL couldn't log in for 3 WEEKS! FINALLY when I can, my email is full of spam (ever hear of spam filters?!), so I need to select msgs and delete them so I can get to my loved ones and business messages (needles in the haystack). EVERY TIME I get started selecting messages, the app randomly unselects them! Then I have to scroll up & start over again. IF I am successful at deleting a batch, the app returns me to the top of my inbox, instead of keeping me where I was at, so again, I have to scroll to find how far down I was, and then start selecting messages again... HOPING that the app doesn't randomly unselect... which it usually does. >:^(

    I've had my account for 25 years... Time to change?!
