My idea is for anyone who can't make a comment without it getting rejected, even though you follow community guidelines, is to cancel your paid subscription to AOL. Thats the only true thing to do

My comments on the AOL opinion blog disappear a few seconds after I post them.
I don't think I say anything wrong. I certainly don't say any bad words. Sometimes a little sarcastic about political matters. But I read comments that are much sharper than mine.
In this time of quarantine, commenting and conversation on AOL are a great relief. I hope you can restore this to me. -

I clicked on the comment area, and it's just idiots spamming rude and disgusting comments. Moderate it or take it away, it's terrible

Hire competent, objective censors. You have censors rejecting totally innocuous, non-partisan, apolitical comments....just because they don't like them.

Tired of the ******** aol censoring my posts which are factual yet trumpets can post ******** and lies over and over and over. It’s **** that a trumpet can call people names and use profanity but u can’t say they are uneducated or lack common sense when they post gibberish they can make all kinds of derogatory comments about Pelosi or Biden and others but I can’t call trump a liar or inept or a buffoon or a clown or really say anything Trump without getting censored

Stop deleting appropriate comments! AOL does not censor rightwing, racist comments. What a shame. To prove a point, I posted 'a' and it was deleted as being against guidelines. AOL preparing for a totalitarian government?

The guidelines should be about foul language and insults, not about writing the truth.I have my lawyer looking into this matter , because I have been consistently barred from making comments and this because of my comments about the present regime and I am not the only one to complain about this issue.

Hundreds of people are making comments on the news articles but their comments continue to be rejected, even though they follow community guidelines. Why, AOL???

Hundreds of comment writers are having the same problem. Why is that, AOL. Fix the main problem, thats all you have to do.

AOL has repeatedly refused to include my comments on grounds that some may be offended! See below comment made in reply to a post calling Trump fat and orange man, etc. That was published but my reply was refused. Specifically, what is objectionable?
"Now, now, we should not, in this politically correct day and age, be engaged in things like fat shaming and name calling. Only those ignorant redneck, Bible thumping, gun loving Trump supporters engage in that sort of thing, right? You have illustrated more than anything I could write the ignorance and biases of the left. Congratulations!"

You have removed the comments word on ALL articles. I cannot comment on any of them. You asked me to send you the URL of the article I cannot comment on.. It's ALL the articles. Please put back the word Comments so we can comment. Stop taking away our freedom of speech. I am also paying AOL every month to use your place. But you are not letting me and others comment.

The rampant censorship in the comment section is a violation of american citizen's constitutionally protected right to free speech and cannot be tolerated.

stop playing with the commends section.

You maintain in your response to questions about the comments section that it still exists at the bottom of each article. It does not. It is not there, does not load, is not accessible, however you want to put it, but it's gone. If you intend for it to be there, please fix it. If not, please bring it back.
