mall of my editorial comments have been reported by others. and it seems that when i do comment that are blocked. I have not used inflammatory or disparaging words or comments i seem to be permanently blocked from commenting

The algorithm that monitors message board posts is way too strict. I've had a post rejected because I used the familiar, shortened first name of Bush 43 veep Richard Cheney. Another of my posts was rejected when I used sh*t in a post. The word was written exactly that way in the quote that I had copied and pasted from the news story as part of my comment. It seems odd that this particular word could violate community standards when the original AP story was presumably vetted by someone on your staff.
An appeals process is needed so that mistakes can be corrected and so that people become more educated as to what comprises violations and so that notifications of posts getting yanked offf the board are more than a vaguely worded rebuke.

Over the past weeks aol have been deleting coments in the news section for no reason no matter the article and its without cause...
"points are insulting and demeaning and you know nothing of the black culture or history or our current plight. Be part of the solution or just shut it. You did not make any sacrifice .. those policies were institute because of the racism and lack of access. You would prefer to see blacks on their knees or under someones begging or getting choke to death... Jerry, I reviewed your previous post and I know how racist you are"""
This needs to stop.

Your reply on Faced with making food for state troopers, restaurant workers walk out has been rejected as it seems to contain content that is not in line with our community guidelines.

please stop making things up as an excuse to violate the constitution. Your personal issues and invalid opinions are just that. You have the right to your own opinion. You don't have the right to your own facts. What else are we going to conjur up today?how is it that you find this postobjectional?

I said peaceful protesters jumped over shopkeepers that were getting beat up to do their looting. AOL- you don't like it? You'd be looted too, if you were in the United States.

If you're going to control everyone's comments then do it EQUALLY! Many posters have comments that name call, insult and disparage others but when one tries to reply with a like response, it's deleted by the free speech police. Specify your standards and quit leaving it up to the "moderators" to delete or approve what they like or dislike. Example, there was a poster whose nickname was "Goober", so when I replied to his post I said "well Goober"......and the post was deleted because I referred to the other poster BY THE NAME HE CHOSE FOR HIMSELF.......why???

Besides posting being a problem (keeps telling you to sign in even when you’re already signed in), now the edits don’t work. You can click on edits, type your correction, resubmit, and it removes your correction. Why has AOL not posted anything about all the problems that have existed recently and what are the solutions? All I get from you are emails that show another’s question.

Make it easier to post comments at the end of news stories. In the past few months, it seems you have been making changes that really make it difficult to comment and see what others have said responding to your comment. Terrible. I give up. No more comments. AND STOP asking me for me phone number - never gonna happen.
