To be honest, prior to Warner---in my view as a technology expert, I would resign in shame if I were involved selection of subs.
I was the lead technical adviser the the U.S largest venture firm, AOL has assemble ****, buying for the sake of buying for I guess growth? If I were a shareholder, which I'm not, I would insist on a review of the losses due to acquisitions---same advise to other large conglomerates such as IBM etc. A sign of a company on the down slope is acquisitions---yes, if a company cannot produce quality innovations on their own, they are already a foot in the grave.
