Too much content. Pages don't load. Can't read news stories.
Not an idea, just a suggestion. I would be more prone to scroll through and read your news stories if the pages would load faster. You have too much content. I am not on dial-up anymore, not using Wi-Fi, rather, I'm directly connected to cable and still, each time I click on a news story, I can't scroll down the page to read it because it simply won't load. In fact, it ties up my computer (page freezes) to the extent that I have completely stopped reading your news feed. Once in a blue moon, I'll try again, and without fail, the same result. Lessen the ads and links to other content and allow your customers to read the news stories that your writers take their time to produce.
We have a solution for you, please clear your browser history, cookies and cache here’s how: https://help.aol.com/articles/clear-cookies-cache-history-and-footprints-in-your-browser
Also, make sure that you have the latest version of the browser installed. You can try using a different browser.

Every time I try to sign in to my AOL Email account the last three days, I get the following:
Can’t connect securely to this page
This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner. What's going on with AOL?

Under AOL news, when you try to click a new news site nothing happens. It doesnt change. No matter what you click...it gets stuck on AOL news and once when i clicked Fox news first it is now stuck on Fox news and will go no where else. You need a better way for us to advise about tech. problems.

What is AOL doing about their ridiculously SLOW website? There are tons of complaints yet all they tell us to do is clear your cache memory. THAT DOESNT HELP. Are you going to provide us with a status of how AOL is going to address this or are going to just ignore your customers? This has been going on for at least a year.

The programmers at AOL should be fired! They haven't a clue how useless it is to read news from your site! It literally stalls most computers even after the web browser has been cleared of cache. What gives???

Does AOL have any intention of fixing the freezing up problems that they created back in December? It doesn't appears that they care.

Why is aol such a memory hog. When I open other sites, such as youtube or facebook, I have no problem. When I open my aol account, and especially when I open a news item from the homepage, I can literally see the usage go up on my task manager until there is no memory left and my computer freezes. I then have to shut down and reboot. This is ridiculous and, as said, only happens on aol.

Logging in or out is inexorably slow. What compounds the problem is the tabloid-like ****** that Today on AOL presents every time. My requests to ***** this turkey are not preserved between sessions, and only once was I able to get a compact version of the same unwanted nonsense to display. Naturally, the whole, ***** thing reemerged the next session in its ****** entirety. Don't click on anything here. If you do, you'll be punished with a primer level story that is presented a few lines at a time on pages filled with ads. If you really to find out what's the latest Meghan Markle scandal, be prepared for at least a dozen pages of stale information and lots of ads - perfect for those too ****** to read newspapers or catch up on televised news.

I want to try to finish this elevator hack story. It is important to me but doesn't work. None of these multi page stories work as the ads block you for several times and the pages quit loading and it kicks you back to page one. I've quit using this as it never works but this one I am interested in for personal reasons. Please help!

FIX YOUR BROKEN SITE BEFORE WE ALL GO ELSEWHERE.
TODAY WAS EXCEPTIONLY BAD.
IT TOOK ME 35 MINUTES TRYING TO POST ONE RESPONSE. SPENT 33 MINUTES WAITING BECAUSE, "AOL COULDN'T RESPOND DUE TO A LONG RUNNING SCRIPT".
I'M SO DISGUSTED WITH YOUR SITE I REFUSE TO PATRONIZE ADVERTISES HERE UNTIL YOU FIX IT. -

Why don't you try fixing your site? It's a disaster, a big waste of time.
We keep complaining and all you tell us to do is clean our files and eliminate our cookies, which I have to do every 15 minutes and the results are minimal. I even signed up for you computer protection which is also useless. I spend 90 % of my time on your site on hold because, "AOL IS NOT RESPONDING DUE TO A LONG RUNNING SCRIPT". I'm also tired of having my post removed, especially when there are no curse words.
I keep looking for a new home page because yours is a waste of time!
