Improve customer service!
In July 2018, we asked for our account to be deleted. We followed the instructions and could not delete account. They said that if we did not go into the account at all, it would be deleted (did not say suspended). Yesterday, we called AOL and asked if the account was deleted and they said no, because we were still getting unwanted e-mails. After 57 minutes on hold and on the phone with Sebastian, there finally was a quick fix that took less than a minute. I kept asking to speak to a supervisor to no avail. This truly was a most frustrating experience. This has taken almost an entire year to remedy. Another reason to not use AOL. Truly Sebastian was most solicitous; however, the system is broken and obviously no one knows how to delete an account!!! Had we been told in July the system would only be suspended and not deleted, it would have saved everyone a whole lot of time and aggravation.

your customer support service is a disaster. I have been paying 20 dollars for the past 10 years and once that I call for an issue I am put on hold 30 minutes each time and both times the line got disconnected. What type of a customer serivice is this
I stayed on hold for 1 hour and 14 minutes only to be disconnected . When I returned the call it was CLOSED!!!!!
