Redesign the Homepage
I just visited Aol.com for the first time in over a decade and the first thing I did when I saw the current layout was laugh to myself a "no wonder no one uses this site anymore." The stories that are being featured are way too depressing and one sided, the layout is visually confusing and in no way appeals to a new reader who hasnt visited Aol since the 90's. With the namebrand behind this website it could already be bigger than Yahoo, and MSN if the homepage was reworked to better suit today's young reader and featured more postivie and uplifting news. As it stands, Aol.com to me has become "That news site I go to when I want to feel depressed about the world." I implore you to please reach out so I can give more detailed feedback and suggestions on how to save this storied brand.
