new story regarding ads that would no longer be seen
This is pretty obvious-isn't it?; considering who ran advertising agencies in the 20s-50s and beyond. Men obvious didn't have a problem with ads that were suggestive (especially regarding women, race, children). This was and is so uncool now. With "Me Too" and other ideas; even as a guy, I can see how exploitative these were. I can definitely see where women, minorities, and others would raise their "hackles" at these ads. I would hope we've evolved some since these times and are a little more sensitive to issues. Thanks.
