    THANK YOU AOL for disabling the comments after articles. It wasn't needed or necessary, just seemed to start a lot of friction between posters...again, thank you.....

    For people who are having problem commenting on AOL articles... I have been a long time AOL user and I was having this problem as well. I figured out that the comments DO NOT post when I am using my laptop, BUT they DO post when I am using my cell phone on mobile view. So it's not an issue of AOL removing the comments (because there is active comments ongoing on all the articles) but there is a glitch when using my PC versus phone. I don't know if it is a setting I am using on my laptop, or what, but if I want to comment, I turn to my phone to view/post. Hope this helps.

    On the bottom of the page of every news article AOL posts, there used to be a comments part where anyone and everyone could post a comment and say what they wanted to say. That feature is no longer available for ANY news article AOL now posts.

    I have not seen any comments for months now. Have been a member since AOL started. Bring back the comments.

    The ability to comment resulted in a loss of anger that had a tendency to build up over reading about the lawless protesters and their demands being given into by panty waist authorities instead of being met head-on with the one thing that they understand... brute force! Any such insert has the same AOL entry as one simply requesting that the ability to comment be restored which unfortunately is........ Flag as inappropriate.... Simply Amazing!

    The only reason to read stories on AOL is the ability to read and write comments. Since that is no longer available I get my news from other sources. Did Google have anything to do with the loss of the comment section?

    Recently I have been locked out of making a comment. I have never posted a racist comment. My last post I used a familiar description of "Crab Bucket Syndrome". I am an inner city school counselor who presents a career education program to all 8th graders at my school. I talk about the values of work and environments and friends who may be holding them back. Desiring for a better life they should be aware of friends and relatives who may attempt to pull them back from their goals. Has nothing to do with race or color and opens up a great discussion to my kids.
    I've posted historical facts when needed but personally never attacked any others in AOL. So why am I unable to open up and participate. AOL member for decades.

    Why am I no longer able to view/add comments under aol news articles? This has been the main reason I've stayed with aol for the past 20 years! Please restore if you wish to retain your subscribers!

    What happened to BLM?
    Why r they not into riots on that now?
    why aren't they asking for who done it?
    or get the killers?
