Thanks for the example. There is an old but still valid web development tenet that says “don’t break the back button”. We try to stick to best practices like this when we can in an effort to provide consistency across browsers. For a while, browser vendors were handling back button clicks differently. However, they’ve come back to a more common way in recent years. If you scroll down our home page or another page that lists our posts and then click the browser back button in Chrome, Firefox or Safari, you will go back to the same place you were (for the most part). This may not be the case when large ads are running at the top of the screen. We’ll continue to investigate different scenarios and possible solutions. We really appreciate your feedback.
