STOP The NEXT PAGE Stories!!! I hate these! You NEVER get to the point of the story or whatever the topic is.
STOP The NEXT PAGE Stories!!! I hate these! You NEVER get to the point of the story or whatever the topic is. Most people give up before even getting to the end.

after fighting with the stupid ads, i've totally lost all interest in the story i was trying to read. and another thing, why do you keep repeating the same stories all day long. 24/7/365. nothing else happening or what? and why do i care what FAKEBOOK, TWITTHEAD thinks. life was much better without all their ****. ENOUGH ALREADY. you need to come out of your enclosed cubicles and listen to the real people who keep you in business. danielrweir41

I have stopped selecting the "next page" stories. They take forever, seldom get to the point.

One Click. I will click one time on a story and if it requires a second click, I leave and find the story elsewhere all on one page. Meanwhile, I have 391 SPAM in my spam mailbox that AOL is supposedly trying to block. If they can't figure out how to block these SPAM, they certainly can't figure out how to put a complete story all on one page, can they?

I really want to see the end of teaser stories, but give up because of its slowness of going to the next page....too many advertisements on the page which do not load quick enough. I don't mind next page stories, but it has gotten out of hand on how slow it is. It is almost time to give up on AOL.....too expensive with too many advertisements.

Some of those with multiple pages are years old.

I agree with this one. I give up and never make it to the end of the story.

Good news. You have some interesting topics. Bad news. The is the worst, most stupid, most time consuming way of presenting them. Takes forever to get thru them. Ads which I INEVER look at, keep popping in the way. Just give us a **** list, let us scroll down the list. And then click onto any of the items on the list, if we want to know more. You must not ever read the comments or you would know, MOST all HATE this format.

Absolutely agree. What a waste time!

They do it because this poor liberal news outlet (AOL News) is struggling to stay afloat financially so they partner with crooks spamming ads in order to bring in additional revenue.

As soon as I see the story is in the form of a slide show, I immediately close the tab. I never see those that advertise. Now if the story is all on one page, I do see and sometimes read the ads. Wake-up AOL, slide shows are over!. Please stop! I've been a loyal AOL customer since the internet first started. However, I almost never look at your news stories now because the majority are slide shows that take forever to load.

That is because they are full of ads.

I have started emailing the news source that posts these NEXT PAGE articles advising them that I, and countless others, are simply refusing to succumb to the ad-driven concept of requiring double-digit NEXT PAGE articles. Additionally, any time I look to a story and end up having to NEXT PAGE to read the complete article, I definitely make note of the advertisers that appear and do everything I can to avoid their products.

Started to read about the TV shows renewed and canceled. Stopped after #3 about Blue Bloods. Was not going to waste my time going thru all. All your readers HATE this. Why don't you listen. In this case could have just given us a list to scroll thru. BTW, did not read one ad. And will not on these. Notice you do not have a place to comment after these Next Page stories. Why? Because you would get so many complaints, would freeze your computers?

Don't you get it. The longer the story, the more advertisements they can bombard you with. Their aim is to prolong a story with as many ads as they can with the hope of attracting the attention of readers and ultimately their purse strings.
