Live by the sword, die by the sword.
The Republicans came in under the radar and won in 2016 because millions voted who had not done so in the past. Judging by what I see on the streets, millions more on top of the numbers from 2016, that have not voted in past, are voting in this election. This indicates an overwhelming majority that do not share Liberal views. In the past, the unwritten best policy for business professionals was to keep politics out of the work place in the best interest of the business, employees, and out respect for its customer base who consist of both shared, opposing views, in addition to everything in between. In addition, there are millions of Democrats transitioning to republican because they don't like the tactics used by the Democratic Party. Further, the news and businesses in general once held themselves accountable to basic principles of honesty and integrity. False narratives and deliberate dishonesty was not condoned due to the potential ramifications such as law suits, civil unrest, image, etc. Dishonest people are and will always be a risk to the well being of a business, its employees, patrons. Those that do not hold themselves accountable to good practices ultimately pay a price. When this group suddenly finds themselves the minority when the silent majority speaks, and further finds themselves in the middle of the recoil in the opposite I believe they will face extinction by the proverbial political sword that they carried. Parents once taught us all that lies always eventually catch up with us. That is still true in spite of the fact that it is apparently no longer taught. The sad irony for liberals is that they can't see how their movement is being destroyed by the way that they are pursuing it more than any other factor. Those on the far left would now have us all discriminate on the basis of social, political, and religious belief. Good luck weathering the proverbial storm that you and others have creating.
