Why is AOL rejecting posts that do not go against their guidelines?
Either stop rejecting comments people post to news stories or give clear words that are not acceptable.
I never cuss or use profanity, threaten or use hate speech in any way yet l am constantly rejected, I notice if l use words like PC, WOKE or China the post is banned, sometimes l need to use these words depending on the news article.
Either post a list of words AOL will reject so we all know or start living up to the good old American 1st amendment rights of freedom of speech...

AOL/Yahoo has been restricting all valid commentaries due to the DEI hired moderators or machines that do not agree with their concept of what is considered free speech. This is dangerous and must stop. AOL must be shut down.

A few yrs ago I believe you rejected a comment about a lawyer I mentioned many yrs ago. Ever since all of my posts have been rejected. Is there an explanation you can give me and what I may have said should not ban me for life? A reply would be appreciated. Thank you.

AOL/Yahoo have been doing this for years and the blind sighted government (or lack of) has done nothing to stop it. ******* politicos are more worried about getting reelected than serving the people they were elected to do so. These 80 year old plus goats should be put in pastures where they can graze to death.

Same here. My posts are way more innocuous than some of the others I read but I'm automatically rejected, even if I just post the word "yes." AOL's claim that they don't censor people is just more AOL fake news.

I had the same problem with yahoo. Yahoo is not censoring your posts.
Yahoo's forums are hosted on Open Web's servers. My account on Open Web's servers was screwed up.
I was able to fix it by deleting my Open Web account. I went to settings, privacy, then scroll to and deleted my Open web account. Go back in login on the form and you should be good to go. AOL might have another company hosting their website. That would be where the problem is.
If you have AOL email and you're not having
problems logging in you email, your AOL account is OK. Your problem is definitely a hosed account. It's gonna be your account on the third-party servers.Maybe this will help. When I did this on Yahoo. I ended up loosing my history that was stored on that server.

AOL/Yahoo is in violation of section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. The Dummies in Washington DC. are sitting on their hands while the world is falling apart. Wake up America and do something to stop this proliferation of free speech and common sense.

I am not thin skinned, however I like a level playing field. I am restricted from using some of the same words as Democrats use, however I am prevented from comments.

It's almost impossible to comment on AOL. If you point that out they will put a ban on anything you post and will block you from commenting. Especially if you are left or liberal

It is 2025 and AOL still rejects the simplest of comments, with the exception of their "own" that work there (TURBO) that commit nasty comments that are posted over and over and over and over - no matter how many times one puts someone like TURBO on MUTE - AOL allows them continue to show up. AOL has blocked two of my names, and for what? Muting ones like TURBO? Oh wait...I'm not a leftist socialist. I get it.

AOL has outlived it's usefulness. The articles are all mostly just click bait to keep peopleonline and commenting. As for AOL mail,, they are selling our data and most likely reading mail for content .

People need to stop using AOL services, if they cant sell advertizing they will cease to exist. There are many otherways to get free email. The censoring on AOL is rediculous. Enforcement of guidlines is arbitrary. Maybe what is needed is a class action lawsuit.
