Biden does not care about the science and is ignoring anything that disagrees with his decrees. He wants to claim political bragging rights for getting everyone vaccinated, whether they need it or not. His worst nightmare is the pandemic running its course and fading away before he can make that claim. Norway is already at that point and has removed nearly all regulations and restrictions.

He is desperate. The only thing that he thinks he can pull off is the COVID but even COVID is not cooperating with him. It is getting worse. He keeps milking it - since he has nothing else to show for - with the support of the media, since they have not chanted "It's all Biden's fault".
