Allow me to comment. I have had AOL since I got my first computer. I had always been able to sign in, read articles and comment. No longer!
Since I have had AOL, pay and use auto deduct from my financial account I am in good standing. I could sign in, read articles and comment. As of a few months ago I am now required to sign in to comment when I am signed in to my account. Today I am not allowed to sign in to comment. If AOL wants me gone, tell me and I will save the monthly fee I pay. I was upset having to sign in twice but did so since I had been with them so long. Now I am allowed to sign in to read news, etc. But blocking me from commenting they should at least give me a discount on my monthly fee and even that has not been offered although my comments are clean, nonthreatening and so on as well as never cussing. My only flaw is I support Trump so guess that does it after awhile, especially if you are good with your comments.

You are not alone. Sandra. I've had AOL since they first came out 35 years ago and had always been allowed to comment on the articles....until four years ago. Now they won't let me comment on even the most mundane news article. As you, I have never used profanity (which I never do in real life either), nor have I threatened or even called anybody names. I guess they just didn't like it when I disagreed with something with Socialist lefties said or when I agreed with the common sense arguments from the right.
