had a bunch of subscriptions, some paid, and my paypal on here forever... rarely log in just to check things, think email was created in 1992, didnt log in for a year till i needed to, and poof nothing there. they had my recovery email, recovery phone, history of rarely logging in, no notifications, just erased... 'nothing online ever goes away' people say... well except rarely used AOL addresses for subscription management :(
another issue- chat/support... i was typing a response- surely they also see 'other person is typing' yet they did the std thank you and closed the chat- clicked on save, cant save once closed, tried highlight/copy- nope... so made a video scrolling thru the chat. what the heck??? no wonder folks laugh at me for still being on AOL 33 years later...paid forever- then they went 'free' but i had to pay due to dialup only here at the time...now sign up for premium support, and...they cant undo anything anyways... yahoo and all the big names are just ad happy... the entirety of my mailbox was probably smaller than a picture for one stupid ad, but cannot be replaced...thanks for the forewarning on my recover emails, or my recovery text number...jeez...
