I recognize that censorship is a necessity. But your standards are not at all consistent. I have been censored when I may have deserved it, but also when I did not deserve it. Recently I was blocked for using the term, "lock her up". That was the entire post, "Lock her up"? How many times has that phrase been used on this forum? Or in an AOL article? On another occasion, I was blocked for using "d**n". instead of the profanity,
All I ask is that AOL:
-Gives us guidelines.
-Explain the reason for a censored post.

The "Favorites Bar" will not display the preset Favorites whenever an addional Favorite is added. What's the problem?

It would be so nice if you could read the replies sent to your comments
The comment section is still broken. Now we can see if we have likes or if someone responds to one of our posts, but you still cannot call up the replies...lasts all of 5 seconds before blanking out. What's the point of replying if someone cannot see what you said in response? You would be better off doing what Yahoo! did, discontinue comments entirely. It would help end the hate.

Have been an AOL member for 20 years… have not been able to post comments to news articles for over 1 month now!
Unless there is profanity or threats, no aol member should be prevented from posting comments to aol articles.

Stop censoring my comments.
AOL censors and deletes my comments no matter what. Testing AOL I wrote 'A' as a comment and it was deleted because it did not meet guidelines. Ok, wtf is going on? If the letter 'A' does not meet guidelines but rightwing hate comments are not censored all I can say: good by AOL.

I don't understand why I am being censored for the last 2-3 days. On the story about the journalist who was recently freed, I wrote: "What a nice surprise!" and my post was flagged. Please tell me why?

Need political balance in newsfeed
Your current newsfeed has four links to pieces about ex-President Trump. But the only link about President Biden is an SNL imitation of him. This is not balanced political coverage.

Change your policy on posting comments
when "A 13% decrease in productivity yields a 100% increase in consumer price, please explain" is against AoL policy such as to cause immediate censorship and removal from posting ... that policy and its supporters needs to be changed.

Storms that came and went, tragedies that show people in distress - how long ago has that been? Sort of totally outdated. Leave blank or use space for ads - if you need funds.

stop blocking comments with poor explanation
Seems I get blocked from posting comments regularly, sometimes with a generic "does not meat the values of the community" including one on the fires out west where I offered prayers for all those impacted.
Other times it says I've had too many comments blocked so I cannot even try to post anything. Seems after a while it becomes pointless to try and post comments, yet I see many with very nasty and bitter tone that get thru, on all sides of the various political and other spectrums.

Lifting ban: I agree with ban on myself but the length of the ban is what I question.
I have been banned for some time now and while I understand the ban I do question the length of the ban on anyone. As for me I do understand the why and do intend to better follow the guidelines in the future.
