At the direction of tech support, and a senior technician at AOL, I am submitting feedback for a technical issue
Up until this morning, I've been able to check my *.cs.com email in the Gmail app on my Android phone. I have two *.cs.com accounts, the other one works just fine using imap.aol.com and port 993, and smtp.aol.com using port 465. And using SSL\TLS. But the other *.cs.com account won't authenticate against those mail servers. It doesn't work with the csi.com domain either, which support asked me to try. The error is username or password is incorrect. I'm able to get to my email in a browser at mail.aol.com, and through the AOL mail app which I installed on my…

Comment "Report" and "Mute" function no longer available
Every time one of your IT / Programming people change things up; you make it worse than it was to begin with. Not only has it become a pain, with unnecessary steps to view posts, now the "Report" and "Mute" functions are no longer available. The "up" arrow to share or copy a remark on other social media outlets is of less importance than when your AI censors don't catch obscenities or personal attacks and there's no way to remove the venomous rhetoric from the comment forum. Stop the large ad at the very top of the homepage
Every time you decide to put the large ad on the top of the homepage it shifts the whole page down. Then I click on an article in the news feed and come back to the homepage to find more stories and the page reloads to put the ad on top just as I am trying to click on another story. It is maddening. Stop putting ads on the top! It's bad enough that you have moving ads on the sides to distract as I read, I don't need this **** dropping the page down.

I'm reading my mail and usually switch to the news- but I can't now because AOL is over-riding my page with full page car ads (tomorrow may be something else) Longtime aol have longtime aol contacts and now yahoo (the new owners) want us to PAY for ad free and also pay to fix the problems they porposely make up but it would be almost impossible for longtime aol members to be able to contact all the past contacts they've made over the years- this should be illegal. Your Marketing Preferences page doesn't work
I already have all my preferences set to Off in https://marketingpreferences.aol.com/ for years. But I still receive marketing emails from AOL, like the monthly "Important Benefit Notification Regarding your AOL Plan" and today AOL and Norton 360. I don't have Norton 360, the email is purely marketing. Many times I've clicked "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of these emails, and my preferences are already all set to Off. advert on screen in webmail
As of today 8th Oct 2025, a new and obstructing advertisement panel has appeared at the bottom of my screen. I can now see only 8 lines of what is in my inbox. (of thousands of lines) . Its unreasonable. AND DISHONEST eg it says it has found 2 car finance agreements in my name, when it hasn’t GET RID OF IT. A single line looking like an email was bad enough, this is totally intolerable.
