New news format is good (maybe) and very, very bad. NAVIGATION is horrible.
Navigation in new news format is horrid. Takes many clicks and much time to get back to article list. It's so bad that I now go off site to find the article which caught my eye. Interesting to have similar articles concatenated, but not worth the effort. Previous format was better. And, way, way too many ads--my browser won't show many because they are too big.

Not a good idea to turn off being able to vote up or down whether I agree or disagree with the commentary.
Tried to disagree, thumbs down, would not allow me, not once, not twice, but three separate comments. Shame on AOL, soon no comments like CNN.

Responding to issues/concerns
While I know that ya'll have no idea about customer service and responding to concerns...I'll put this out there (unless, I know)..I had been in AOL jail for about a year..then about 3 weeks ago was released and commented (very nicely..learned my lesson..thank you big brother...NOW I'm back in jail for no apparent reason...WHATS UP? AGAIN, I know that NO ONE from AOL reads these comments even tho its says to help improve the "AOL Experience"..HaHa...and then in your header it says.."This forum is not monitored for any support related issues"...Thus a waste of time...but...

Stop posting mini videos under "news" stories of snakes and alligators and actually everything.
Just stop please with gross, distracting mini videos of reptiles, pets and actually anything else...that small video clip box is annoying

Give the option t return to the OLD FORMAT. this one SUCKS! The messages show as READ if you just pass over them with the mouse, you have to ENLARGE the message every freaking time... NOT USER FRIENDLY!

Fix email
Change is not always bad. But the new email format is plain awful. I just found out another mess. I read my email and it goes to "old mail" like before but I can go there and "Keep as New". Now I want to go to NYTimes Or some other place, hit my Back Button and I have the previous email screen "Oh,nuts" and delete the window (dumb idea there, folks, why can't I just back out of AOL mail into a new search box????)

Have made ss and videos of the comments you have rejected over the last months compared to those you allowed that I have copies of from 2020 against conservatives and sending to our reps in Washington. Also that you have illegally blocked me and looks like by the comments following many others. I will be pushing for an investigation of your business practices!

I'm a Paying Customer for Decades...Why Am I Subjected to Never-ending Ads
Inane ads in every square inch. Why am I subjected to that as a paying customer for decades? AOL has turned into an ad delivery medium without any real content. Time to look for another ISP.

Automatically marking a new email as read before I open it-MUST STOP this!
After reading a new email, I close it and hit delete. The AUTOMATICALLY it unchecks my next new email as read! This is WRONG! I haven't read the email so why does the little blue dot go away and it is then considered READ! I DIDN'T OPEN IT! I am very concerned that it will automatically do this for an email I specifically haven't opened yet and I will lose the email into the multitude of read emails.
