   EVERYONE REALIZES THAT YAHOO IS RUNNING AOL; BUT STOP INSERTING ITS PAGE(S) INTO THE EXISTING AOL FORMAT. WHEN TRYING TO VIEW LIKES OR REPLIES TO POSTS IN THE COMMENT SECTION OF A NEWS ARTICLE, WHEN YOU CLICK ON THE BELL ICON & THE RESPONSES, SOMETIMES RATHER THAN BRING UP YOUR POST, REPLIES, THUMBS UP &/OR DOWN...IT TRANSFERS YOU TO THE SAME STORY ON A YAHOO PAGE WITH DIFFERENT COMMENTS (SAYING YOU HAVE TO LOG IN). IF YOUR INTENTIONS ARE TO EVENTUALLY COMBINE THE TWO COMPANIES, YOU NEED TO GIVE PEOPLE A HEADS UP SO THEY CAN DECIDE IF THEY WANT TO STAY AN ACTIVE AOL CUSTOMER WHEN NOT GETTING THE SERVICES THEY PAY FOR. 4. adds are making aol unusable. I know you need to make money, but after 29 years with the same user name, im looking elsewhere.

   downsize ads so our devises won't slow to a crawl. I got a new laptop, but aol mail is slowing everything to a crawl. I have a couple of gmail accounts, but actually prefer aol......until now.

5. "Strict - no adult content"

   My Complaint is that NOBODY should ever have access for the "SafeSearch" Option to change the Settings from the "Moderate - no images or video" NOR the "Off - do not filter results" Option, unless He &/Or She has a AOL Account and Signs into His &/Or Her AOL Account First! The "SafeSearch" Setting should ONLY Default (& ONLY to Remain on!) to the "Strict - no adult content" Setting for the "Search Preferences" within the "Settings!"

   I am writing on behalf of my friend, who suffers from a chronic disease that has left him disabled and unable to manage his AOL accounts without assistance. He has authorized me to contact you regarding an urgent matter involving his account access.
   He has two AOL email accounts:
   • XXXXX@aol.com (primary account)
   • XXXXX@aol.com (secondary account)
   Each account is listed as the recovery email for the other. Unfortunately, he did not set up a phone number or any additional recovery method. As a result, he is now locked out of both accounts and cannot complete the automated recovery process.
   My friend has been an AOL account holder since the earliest days of the service. At the time he created these accounts, AOL did not require security questions, personal identification details, or other verification information. Because of this, he does not recall ever entering a name or other identifying information on the accounts.
   Without any advance notice, he was locked out of both accounts and has been attempting to regain access since January 2026. These accounts are essential for his communication, personal records, and daily functioning, and the prolonged loss of access has caused significant hardship.
   The purpose of this communication is to respectfully request that AOL unlock both accounts as soon as possible or provide a clear path for identity verification so he may regain access. We are fully prepared to provide any documentation or information needed to verify ownership.
   Thank you for your time, understanding, and assistance. Your support in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

8. Can't read replies...

   Just how many complaints does AOL require users to post on this Feedback Forum before someone in your IT Department decides it's worthy enough to do something about it? The only way you can currently circumvent your system is to click on your own posts and locate the article you responded to and click on that. Maybe, if you're lucky, it will open up another window where you can scroll down, hit "View Comments" and your post will appear (along with any likes, dislikes and/or replies. Nothing like leaving it up to your customers to figure out how to get to a screen that was once easily available to view. Repair it, it's long overdue.

11. Add DISGUTING WORDS FILTERS

    How about AOL creating filters to stop the most horrific and disgusting spam emails I have seen in a long time.
    The are offensive (four letter words beyond the pale), luring people to their houses because they are "home alone tonight" - God forbid a minor are getting these. These should not even reach the Spam area. They should be stopped beforehand - gee, like Gmail, etc.

    It's also not rocket science to figure out who is sending it. DUH. Have you heard of Whois.com/Whois?
    
    I know who they are, and will probably report them all to FTC (if they even care).

    I delete the spam, but I have to check my Spam because, gee, legitimate contacts I've had for years end up in SPAM.

    Please, please, please fix your spam

14. Freeze Yahoo search engine from migrating to our Chrome browser

    Yahoo search engine seems to migrate and become the default search on our chrome browser. We do not use Yahoo on AOL or any other browser but it keeps reappearing as the default engine on Chrome despite the default search engine being changed and the Yahoo being deleted from the list of search engines in Chrome. How do we stop the infectious Yahoo search engine from taking over our Chrome browser?

16. Allow filters to work in SPAM Folder so that highly offensive can be auto deleted.

    Get multiple emails successfully moved to SPAM folder but am unable to auto deleted emails with subject line or content that include things like the "F" word.
