New/Old Email is misnamed
New/Old does not describe the actual action. New = unread Old = read. so why not say "Unread/Read" . If I had known that, I would not have switched from Unified (which I also did not understand) to see if I would like it better (which I do not). Meanwhile, switching turned off my Sender and Subject sorting options so I needed to call AOL tech support to get them back.

How to change sort to default to old first for incoming mail-this is bass ackwards
why do you want to read new mail first??????
have to manually change this sort every time I go to mail!!!!
Have a settings to do this so you don't have to change it every time -

New Tabs
Your tabs process is Horse*. The tab does not go to full screen so on a typically laptop you not take up so much room on the screen with AOL Bull* that you cannot write and e-mail and review your composition well. You customer is forced to do it with this **** system in about 25% of the screen space. Go back to the old system and only keep the dark mode!!! Whoever is the decision maker to come up with the ****** system should be FIRED today! This is as bad a BUD LITE!!!!!!

Get rid of black side bar
Please get rid of the black side bar to move email content up or down. The side bar disappears before you are able to click on it and then you are STUCK .... And if you try to retrieve the side bar the email becomes highlighted. Please go back so I can use my mouse or pad the move email and web pages

Go back to the way it was and improve on it!
When this was a Verizon service, I was able to use a wild card in the domain - ie @somewhere.com - dramatically reducing the amount of spam that got anywhere near my address. Since the merger with AOL and its recent separation this ability has been removed. The only reason I can see this happened is someone's wallet got thicker. As an email service you have a responsibility to your customers to provide a comfortable and less intrusive experience. Your spam blockers are not cutting it. improve account verification
i travel for work and am in hotels often, lately every time i need to check my email i get a message to verify my account. it sends a code to my other aol account and that one wont let me in and sends a code to the main account i use. How stupid is that. why not use security questions instead of this stupid loop. Last night i couldnt read email, i had to wait until i got home and i assume because it a familar IP it lets me right in. but what if i travel for 4…

Put Delete icon on LEFT, PRINT from the email- without 3 more clicks!!!!!
MOSTLY LIKE THE NEW FORMAT. Couple things I HATE. I want to be able to move the Delete column to the left next to Flag.....I don't want to have to move my eyes AND my cursor all the way to the right to delete individual messages ( of "Select" then go to the top to delete).
PUT THE ******* PRINT BUTTON ON THE SCREEN AND LET ME PRINT THE EMAIL DIRECTLY FROM THE EMAIL! That problem was solved in emails systems YEARS ago!!
