NEW VERSION SUCKS--REVERT BACK TO THE STANDARD VERSION
Bring back the old version. This new version SUCKS and has basically no so called improvements. Lost writing features that are necessary to write an email and I used all of the time. Why don't you try asking users before making changes that are obviously not needed!

SPAM has been overwhelming as of late.

Remove Ads from Inbox
Remove the Ad's from inside the Inbox. It impedes the flow when trying to locate important emails. In the classic version, there were NO ad's INSIDE the Inbox.

Block & Delete SPAM completely, It keeps coming back, the same that I filtered & deleted over & over & over again...AWFUL!!!!

insert a block button on all emails to make scammer and junk email easier to get rid of
make blocking a sender easier - just make a button on the email to block them - right now you have to highlight the sender's name then go to mail settings and tap block senders - other mails just have one button that does it instantly

YES, PLEASE FIX SPAM AS REQUESTED BY MANY
As last number of people have written to aol about, I too unfortunately have had a lot of emails that I needed to see somehow unknowingly get routed to my spam folder. The old aol didn't automatically do that the way it frequently happens now even with people's emails who I've already been corresponding with. This is very upsetting and needs to be fixed ASAP. Why isn't this being addressed as this is a big problem.

Fix Spam!!!!!
Messages from frequent contacts continue to go into the spam folder even though I have marked every single one of them as "Not Spam". This is now a very large issue as I am missing important updates.
Even after marking as "not spam"; emails from the same recipient go into the spam folder

non-SPAM emails continuously being moved into SPAM folder. 2+ months now!
We BEG YOU to please FIX the emails, which are from people I never had problems with going into SPAM. I have tried to setup rules, marked as non-SPAM, added i Filters (using classic and NEW email interface) but they still go into SPAM, and therefore to not get downloaded into my POP3 Outlook and Phone.
So many people have complained, but nothing is being done. These emails came from private people, school addresses.
Again, WE BEG you. I am a VERIZON POP3 customer, who has been switched to AOL (from Verizon, and then Yahoo).

Go back to the way it was and improve on it!
When this was a Verizon service, I was able to use a wild card in the domain - ie @somewhere.com - dramatically reducing the amount of spam that got anywhere near my address. Since the merger with AOL and its recent separation this ability has been removed. The only reason I can see this happened is someone's wallet got thicker. As an email service you have a responsibility to your customers to provide a comfortable and less intrusive experience. Your spam blockers are not cutting it. Spam Blocked Addresses is limited to 1000 which fills rapidly. Increase the Limit or do not make limit on blocked addresses.

Can we have some more mail themes
Can we have some more mail themes? more colors, themes for holidays. One thing I've enjoyed about AOL Mail over the years is the fun themes and changing them based on the season. The new AOL Mail doesn't have a lot to offer.

Put Delete icon on LEFT, PRINT from the email- without 3 more clicks!!!!!
MOSTLY LIKE THE NEW FORMAT. Couple things I HATE. I want to be able to move the Delete column to the left next to Flag.....I don't want to have to move my eyes AND my cursor all the way to the right to delete individual messages ( of "Select" then go to the top to delete).
PUT THE ******* PRINT BUTTON ON THE SCREEN AND LET ME PRINT THE EMAIL DIRECTLY FROM THE EMAIL! That problem was solved in emails systems YEARS ago!!

With new Aol, email is harder to read. Type size is too small and print is not as bold as before.

I do not like the changes made to the home page and I really HATE the font! I want to be able to choose font.
