Change order of inbox columns
I prefer the ability to change the order of columns in the inbox (like I can on classic). This enables me to have the delete button closer to where my eye is (reading the subject line) than far off to the right... so my cursor and eye are aligned for better usability.

insert a block button on all emails to make scammer and junk email easier to get rid of
make blocking a sender easier - just make a button on the email to block them - right now you have to highlight the sender's name then go to mail settings and tap block senders - other mails just have one button that does it instantly

When I close an email, another one opens, but not all the time. I HATE this! Can't find a way to turn that off.
Either let us scroll thru emails in order with auto opening, or turn it off and go to the email we actually want next.

Bring the spam counter back!!
I still don't understand why the spam counter was removed???? There are so many people wanting it back, are you trying to drive your customers to other platforms?

Attachments
Please place attachments on the top again. On emails that get multiple replies you have to scroll all the way down to find the attachments instead of being on the top showing the most recent sent like before the updated look. really annoying

Why can't I keep my email list as 'unread emails' as a saved sort function?
Allow us to keep a 'Unread Emails' as a preferred and savable setting

The reading pane is now smaller & the ad is wider. Because the ad's are constantly changing with animation it is now very distracting to read important mail. Please return the ad area to the less wide setting.

I get over 60 spam emails a day.
Add wildcard blocking (admin@* / admin@addtocartnow* / *@addtocartnow*)
Add domain blocking (@addtocartnow-vbg23.co.uk)
Allow for an unlimited amount of emails to be blocked (1,000 is not close to enough space, I filled that up in a week).

mail forwarding
this would be very nice for those of us with multiple email addresses. This feature is already in AOL mail for verizon.net email accounts migrated to AOL as well as in Yahoo Mail which is what this new interface is. So it would be just enabling an existing feature for everybody.

I need to sort Sent mail by addressee. Sort by who the mail was sent to.

Go back to the way it was and improve on it!
When this was a Verizon service, I was able to use a wild card in the domain - ie @somewhere.com - dramatically reducing the amount of spam that got anywhere near my address. Since the merger with AOL and its recent separation this ability has been removed. The only reason I can see this happened is someone's wallet got thicker. As an email service you have a responsibility to your customers to provide a comfortable and less intrusive experience. Your spam blockers are not cutting it. Former AOL mail allowed for select/deselect messages randomly but feature no longer available.
Former AOL mail allowed for select/deselect messages randomly by clicking cntrl and check box of last group of messages to keep. But now are unable to deselect by holding down cntrl and click last group of check box messages to not keep. I am experiencing this issue while using the new AOL webmail.

Update the SPAM Blocking Features...
Allow blocking for ****@ (Example... AOL@)
I get 20-30 spam emails a day from 157118052@aaddto***** (with different domains by a few characters).
My SPAM allowance is full because of this.

Allow Group By on Sort by Date to be turned off
Allow the Group By (Today, Yesterday, Tuesday, etc.) when sorting emails by date to be turned off. The Group By sections are distracting.

hyperlinks
In old mail, when I would get URLs in the body of an email (not imbedded, but just copy+pasted as is), it would be hyperlinked and I could just click on it and it would send me to the website. New mail doesn't have that and I would really like that feature back.

Put Delete icon on LEFT, PRINT from the email- without 3 more clicks!!!!!
MOSTLY LIKE THE NEW FORMAT. Couple things I HATE. I want to be able to move the Delete column to the left next to Flag.....I don't want to have to move my eyes AND my cursor all the way to the right to delete individual messages ( of "Select" then go to the top to delete).
PUT THE ******* PRINT BUTTON ON THE SCREEN AND LET ME PRINT THE EMAIL DIRECTLY FROM THE EMAIL! That problem was solved in emails systems YEARS ago!!

This is a Cartoon Layover on a ****
There was zero reason to upgrade the "Look" of the email service provided and then remove features. Can you scrap this cartoon layover with the terrible font choices and just return us back to what we have had forever?

why did you mess up something that was working
I guess I just don't understand why you have to mess with something that worked. Many people laugh when I say I have an AOL address. I have tried the others and always came back to AOL. Now you are no better than gmail - why copy something that is already out there? If a person likes the gmail format, they can change. Bring back the old version.

Provide go to top of priority when creating filters
I use filters to send spam mail to the "Bulk Mail" folder based on content. This is because the native spam filter is letting everything through to my inbox. I have been able to create a combination of filters that work. However, they are also catching valid messages. To fix that I create filters for the specific email domains I want to keep, The problem is by default, new filters are placed at the bottom of the filter priority list. I want to move these to the top of the list. The only way is to keep hitting the up…
