Restore the Inbox Email Count in top right corner please!
Please RESTORE the # of emails in my Inbox back to the upper right corner. I need to know how many emails I have to go through!! It's very important for motivation to get through them all. WHY did you remove the number on the new version? It only took up a very small space. Now I am unable to revert to the old version. I think time to look for another mail app that tells me how many emails I have, a very fundamental feature for a mailbox app.

The new mail filter rules, 'To/CC' contents issue
The old mail required separate rules to recognize an address in either
the 'To:' line or the 'Cc:' line. Combining them into one rule is good, but
it is not working. The filters only recognize 'To:' lines, not 'Cc:' lines.Suggestion: Besides To and Cc, also include Bcc, since it really doesn't
matter which of those header lines an address is in. -
refresh
On the old AOL email inbox, there was a way to refresh your new emails, rather than just to wait for a new email to come in. I can't find a way to do this on the new email.

It would be good if could import contacts from other email accounts like the Yahoo mail account does
in the yahoo! contacts setting section the user can import and sync contacts from various email providers such as aol, gmail, linkedin. AOL does not provide such a feature.

Attachments not downloading
Since the new rollout of the new layout, we are having a lot of difficulty getting message-attachments to download. My co-worker has clicked her attachments multiple times, in the image, on the download symbol and every conceivable way.
The really concerning thing, however, is that even after switching back to the classic layout, the issue persists. We're having to try to process any attachments through my workstation, which has bottlenecked productivity for the both of us.
This information may prove useful: The workstation that it unable to download is running on Windows 11, whereas my workstation is on Windows 10.…

Sorting email into pages - say 100 per page
Unless I'm missing something in settings, I can't find a way to put email into pages, say 100 per page (regardless of sender). Having all my email on one page seems foolish.

grouping
Please add an option to toggle email grouping on or off. I personally don't like having my emails grouped by day/week/month.

right bar
Would like the option to permanently toggle the contact bar on the right to be OFF when reading a new message. I dislike having to click a button to minimize this every time I look at a new message.

mail stationary
I realize the new AOL mail has stationary, but can you bring over the stationary designs of classic AOL mail? there are some really cutes ones that have been there for years

For internet nostalgia, please keep the classic "You've got mail" sound an option.

mail themes
the themes in the new aol mail (Yahoo mail branded as AOL) are very few and not fun and exciting. I have enjoyed changing the mail theme for holidays and seasons.

A suggestion for Improvement
I just saw this:

There is only 4 of them in the last month. Surely you could have done what I did and give those that took the time to give feedback, at least a suggestion or comment. Jeez........I won't hold my breath for a response.....Shame on you AOL -
spam
I guess I might have not been the best with staying away from sites that will target me with spam but seriously? It is so easy to spot them. They use the xyz mumble jumble and nonsensical names before or after the @. Then dot. 'something' .com. Really? Even as lame as I am, I can figure it out. Let me do a simple block with a partial name ........Like anything and everything from bolopil.com......Please, give me a break and peace! 100 a day coming in......You have to be better than this.......

Remove Ads from Inbox
Remove the Ad's from inside the Inbox. It impedes the flow when trying to locate important emails. In the classic version, there were NO ad's INSIDE the Inbox.

type size
With new Aol, email is harder to read. Type size is too small and print is not as bold as before.
