GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

I used to be able to highlight a word or sentence, hit reply and that word would show up on the reply. Now I have to copy and paste. Pain in the hind end!

Restore back to the original version. It was much easier to navigate, had an excellent search function to find emails . This one is impossibly awful and basically useless - I have to resort to my I pad if I want to search for something. i pray you don't muck with the ios version. Composing emails is a nightmare.
I stuck with AOL for its search function, easy to use folders and the ability to write emails is a separate window. Also, when I opened an email it would stay open. I really really hate what AOL has done.
What were you thinking?????
Switching to basic version is also useless. -

The new AOL format is awful. Hard to search, hard to read, TOO "helpful" (meaning it interferes with our writing). We have been with AOL since its creation. We are now considering moving to gmail instead of dealing with AOL's pathetic attempts to mimic gmail. Is there any way we can switch back to the old format?

Why are you taking so long? The new email format is stupid! I demand that you switch back to the old format now!

The new version has created HAVOC with my ability to insert and control the size of pictures. The lack of selections of colors and fonts is terrible. This is a horrible situation. Please revert to the service you provided immediately!

Hate the new format. Hate that I have to find and press the arrow button. Lost many subscriptions. No way to white list them back.
I am over 65, and I would bet that aol's mail users sku older. The new format is harder for me to see and use. Totally unusable on a cell phone.
I doubt many users are younger, so why **** off your customer base? You hire that lady from Bud Light marketing to roll this out?. -

AOL -you seem to be ignoring the feedback of your users.
It is not only a matter of "not liking change" ........... the new layout is inferior and dysfunctional in many waysFor example -- if you draft an email then start adding addresses for recipients, you can no longer scroll down and read your actual email message.
A very glaring defectThere is no way to select all the emails from a single day .... then unselect the few you want to keep, then one step delete all the rest
Deletion must be ALL or NOTHING unless you toggle thru and mark each one individually
Fewer new emails are visible on the screen at one time now --- even with optimized settings --- too much space wasted on fluff and filler
And much more
Listen to you customers and users --- Offer the CLASSIC VERSION again .... the classic version is more refined and professional and functional in many ways ........ and not "cute and amaterish: looking like this new version

Is AOL so contemptuous of its users that it's ignoring the massive hugely negative response to the new format? Grow some balls, admit you f**ked up, and do the right thing, bring back the old format!

So instead off actually listening to your users and FIXING this awkward new format you've foisted on us, you're wasting time "combining" feedback comments! And changing NOTHING! Give us back our useful features: opening emails in a new window and choosing to see the actual email addresses.

I renew my request/pleasure to give, DEMOCRATICLY, the possibility of RETURNING TO THE OLD AOL MAIL LAYOUT, which had so many options that THERE ARE NOT IN THIS NEW VERSION of AOL MAIL. But why don't you understand that THE OLD VERSION OF AOL MAIL WAS PERFECT?

I messaged a customer service agent and asked if we were going to receive an answer to the thousands of complaints regarding this horrible new email format. I was told yes but unfortunately she didn't know the exact date when they would be answered.

PS. And text changes to see if your clients actually like them!! Or send surveys please! At least give your users the option NOT TO CHANGE so you can keep your customers.
