GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

I made an error in my reply and couldn't find a way to get rid of it and start again. The new email is really bad.

What happened to the approximately 15,000 comments that were already made and 100% NEGATIVE and which received no RESPONSE? Such ****** user experience and customer service!!!

I don't like all the ads, smaller screen. I liked the original format.

Because I don't see the old mail in my mailbox, I am forgetting to do things that I would normally see in regular text as opposed to the bolded new mail from the OLD AND SUPERIOR FORMAT. The designers were obviously not long time users. So, to put it politely, ******** AND CHANGE BACK TO THE OLD FORMAT. THAT IS ALL.

I AGREE 100% WITH ALL THE OTHER USERS ON HERE. GO BACK TO WHAT WORKED! OR AT LEAST GIVE US THE CHOICE AND SAVE OUR CHOICE!!

I was able to go back to classic email by clicking on the settings tab => more settings, which lasted about 10 minutes! It automatically switched back, and now I don't even SEE the option in settings anymore! If I click on the option to go back to the original AOL version, why can't it stay that way?? It is so frustrating! This new style is NOT efficient! Please change back!!!

Cannot cut and paste word documents into it like it was before. When you do it ends up with wide spaces between all of the lines and triple spacing between the paragraphs. Tech said I had to fix this manually. That is not acceptable. Also no way to insert logos and wrap text that feature is gone also.

This is the worst format, and I don't understand why you've chosen not to give your customers the choice to revert back to classic. Poor business decision on your part.

I can no longer delete an address from my gang list, namely the person who sent me the email I wish to forward.
Why would I want to resend it to the sender ??????????? -

still haven't heard if you are going back to former format,I can't be the only one who hates the new

Please go back to old mail. This is awful!!

Classic was less cluttered with things I didn't ask for. The new format works for you, not for us.

Susan Janes commented
You can improve it by returning to the old one.

I am still wondering what happened to the 14,000 negative comments that were here? didn't like it so you deleted them? Why even bother to provide an avenue for feedback if you are going to ignore it, or worse, delete it

The new version of AOL Mail is absolute rubbish. I hate the ads and the fact that the read emails remain on the same page is a pain in the backside. There was nothing wrong with the original layout. Never heard the saying 'If it ain't broken, don't fix it'????

This totally sucks! Bring back the old format!

Hey, AOL, get a clue. You're over a month into the new email format and the feedback is majority "you failed!" Either go back to the previous format or find something closer to it. You're a favorite among the older user crowd but you're losing them quickly as we (their children) are considering moving them (and ourselves) to other 3rd party email clients. IF getting them/us to move to other email clients is your goal, be up front about it -- just say "we're closing down your email by xx date" and they'll deal with it. But changing the format to something that is pretty much fully panned by your primary clients is ... rude to your customers and ... honestly .. a bad business choice.

Give us at least the option to use the previous un-idiotic version.
