We don't want AOL to change! Or look like Gmail or Outlook. I want the column headers to sort my emails by name A to Z and click Z to A, or by dates increasing and decreasing without having to go to a sort tab selection! It made it so much easier to clean out my mailbox!!
I liked the spell check, that names would auto populate as you started typing. That I could have the delete column next to the sender column or move the flag column. So many features are harder to use now, if they are even available. And I liked my previous background too!

This is not an idea, but a complaint to go back to a prior version of email. Yesterday I found dozens of my saved as unread emails disappeared into old mail; I kept them there for a reason. Likewise after looking at a new mail, if I don't save as new, when hitting the back button it no longer appears on the list; previously, the read and unread emails still appeared until exiting the new mail application. This is really messing things up for me and it came without any prior notice. My good idea is to go back to how it was, on these functionalities.

I read with interest one commenter's experience talking to Aol customer service and the "that's your opinion" comment from the customer service person. Well, I guess that about sums up what they think of the thousands of complaints that oddly are no longer showing on this site! Typical........

What were you thinking? This new format is atrocious! And the alternative "Basic Mail" is NO better!
How about offering a choice? I have used AOL for Years, because it was far and away an easier site to use than anything else out there. Now, you've gone and Ruined it! I' m 81 years old, and this old dog is Not interested in any "new tricks"!

I can't even see how I check off and delete unwanted emails. Antonia

I can't see on the mail layout where to mark an email "Keep As New" or where to search for emails from a specific sender. These are essential features for me. Please amend my email format accordingly. Thank you

I appears AOL is not reading any of these comments. So we're all going to be forced to accept something we hate which is affecting our work in some cases?? I've called Customer Service to complain and urge them to return back to the original format. I even requested to speak to a supervisor. I said there have been several thousands of complaints about the new format. I said, "People HATE this!! I've not seen one positive feedback." The customer service rep. replied to me, "That's 'your opinion.'" NO. It is a fact!!! They obviously do not care.

I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO PRINT OUT AN ENTIRE MESSAGE. All I get is 3/4 of the message. Even have had to print message out in portions and still I can't get the right hand side message. This is extremely important as I do work for my church!!!!! HOW CAN I PRINT OUT AN ENTIRE MESSAGE???? BRING THE OLD AOL BACK. THIS NEW VERSION IS UNACCEPTABLE.

First of all, it's TOTALLY UNORGANIZED. It's not alphabetical, it's totally arbitrary. Things that are supposed to be on the regular list are elsewhere without any rhyme or reason. It's TOTALLY EXASPERATING.
ALSO, when I try to use a letter to bring up a contact for an email, it doesn't recognize the contact IN THE LIST and brings up all kinds of extra contacts that don't have that letter AND it brings up contacts that have been deleted.
THE WHOLE THINGS IS A TOTAL DISASTER.
BRING BACK THE OLD PROGRAM.

I have a fovea to snakes every time I open my email in this ad. appear a snake. Make me sick, unconfortable and paranoic. Please this is third time I write about this.

Isn't it about time someone from AOL could spend a few moments of their time to respond to the approximately 15,000 negative comments (14,000+ from the locked topic & 650+ on this one) regarding the downgrade of their email? Pretty poor show isn't it?
And it would be nice if it was something other than a standard fob off.
