GO BACK TO CLASSIC EMAIL
I just want classic email back. I've had it since 1995. Can't handle the change, don't mess up what already works.

I still don't like the new mail service and definitely want the old one back. Are you listening????? When do you think that you will respond and give me back the old mail?!

ACCORDING TO YOUR "STATUS" BOX AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE, YOU HAVE ONLY RESPONDED TO LESS THAN 500 OF THE MORE THAN 14,000 COMPLAINTS THAT HAVE BEEN FILED. WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE OTHER 13,500 COMPLAINTS??? DID YOU DELETE THEM ALL???

The new version makes it difficult to manage emails. I don't understand why you changed!!!! Easy of cleaning and easy reading emails is the main reason I'm with AOL. If I wanted a gmail account, I would go to gmail. Please put back the old version!

return to the original aol, even going from the new version to the "claimed" original version is just a dumbed down version of the new one.
The original version worked and did not need any changes.

Unfortunately, Yahoo and/or AOL really have no desire to please their clients and have no real incentive to do so. When an acceptable alternative appears, you'll probably see a great 'migration' away. See the example of Elon Musk's tampering with a working system.

For anyone else who might need this. Create a new gmail with something close to your AOL email if you can, just for memory's sake. And here's how you import your box. At least we can open emails in new windows in Gmail. Just be very careful of that enter key, because it does dumb things if you don't adjust your settings first.
https://www.wikihow.com/Switch-from-AOL-to-Gmail
(If we can't get AOL fixed, at least websites will finally take our email addresses again. There's also a Gmail setting to allow you to manage the AOL account from the Gmail side. It's in step 8 of the guide linked above, "Forwarding Future AOL Mail to Gmail after the import".
Best of luck to you all. It was great while it lasted.

So, just in case someone in product support reads this. Officially, I'm exporting all my AOL mails to a new Gmail account. Because now there's no reason to have an AOL mail. If this was some plan to shed users to tank the company, then by golly it's going to work.

Please. Just go back to the older mail format. AOL was currently *unique* in the true ease of use that it offered. We get laughed at for having aol email addresses. Some websites won't even take them as *valid* emails, but we STILL have them. And that is for a reason. This update has ruined that reason for keeping an aol email because it's now objectively harder to manage than a gmail email. Please restore it to the older settings. Change your fonts, change your layout, but don't mess with the key way the mailbox operates, that is what I'm here for.

I can't even get my mail frequently now. How much does that stink? I want the classic back. I'd sign in now if I could. It's has been too long now that I've been asking for it back. What is going on? I would like a response!!

You can improve AOL mail by restoring the old version. I have hit the "Critical" button in the voting area as many times has my fingers allowed.
LISTEN UP!!! Your customers are trying to tell you something. Take the cotton out of your ears or blinders off your eyes. Your front-line phone reps can only direct us to this forum. Who is in charge? Are you on vacation? Do these message go in the trash!!!???
Finally, my idea is to listen to the people, "GO BACK TO THE OLD VERSION OF AOL MAIL".
This has been a plea for common sense over dull-wittedness and denseness. -
