keep getting spam from "blocked" senders
I keep getting SPAM in my folder from @kellykat.com. I've blocked these emails multiple time, but still they come. I'm getting more and more SPAM in my inbox, which I move to SPAM. You always ask if I want to "unsubscribe." I never subscribed to these domains. They are just trying to get AOL to give them legitimate email addresses. Wise up!
Hi. We're sorry to hear you're receiving spam emails! We have some solutions for you, please refer to this article to learn how to best manage unwanted emails: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-mail-spam-and-privacy We also added additional security features for AOL Mail: https://help.aol.com/articles/additional-security-features-in-aol-mail Moreover, the block feature is best used for people, not spam, since spammers can use spoofed accounts. This means, what you see and add to your blocked list might not be the actual sender address. If you need assistance, you can reach out to us at https://help.aol.com/contact/
Thank you!

Sick and tired of 25-35 spam emails a day. Only on AOL. Every other mail service blocks it. Pathetic. Moving to gmail. Tired of having to block senders every day only to have them return. Sick of having to unsubscribe every single day from these annoying emails. Stop selling my address!

Getting a lot of spam regarding products recommended by "Oprah". Set up a filter to route anything with "Oprah" in "from" to spam folder. It's not working, so I added "oprah" in subject and body to the filter. Still doesn't work. When multiple criteria are specified, the instructions don't say whether all criteria must be met, or just one of them, for the filter to work. Either way, it doesn't work.

In recent months, the volume of obviously junk mail passing AOL's spam filter has increased. I have been AOL email user since 1994. Maybe it is time to switch to another email service. Harbor Freight is one repeating offender.

I'm paying you for email service that I could get for free elsewhere. I think you could and should do something to deny the broadcast spam from egregious spammers. Most notably of late are literally hundreds of spam emails per day from ***@abolities.*** and ***@voivodevils.***. I've filtered them to my spam folder but I still have to address them in case a valid message ends up there before deleting the lot. Several times per day.
It's hard for me to believe there isn't something you can do to identify and deny access to this intrusive traffic. -

I have been receiving a ridiculous amount of spam recently. Even though it generally goes to my Junk mailbox, it seems like AOL should be able to better control this issue. I do not have this level of problem with other mail services.

It has gotten worse and worse and worse. I have set up another email account outside of aol, and guess what?, None of the spam that I consistently get from aol comes through the other email carrier. Which means AOL just doesn't know what their doing. I have removed my aol email from every vendor account I use and use the new email vendor, and get no spam with the other vendor. Hum. As of now, all I get in my aol email box is spam.

It's Absolutely Ridiculous That I Can Only Block 1000 Spam Email Address's, I Get 100 Spam Emails A Day, 200,000 Would Be NICE If I Could BLOCK That Many!!!!

I keep filtering types and blocking senders and the same types keep coming, other e-mail providers can cope with this why can't AOL be bothered to fix it, do they get paid for spam deliveries ?

Monitor the number of spam e-mails sent on a daily basis. Especially, the number of e-mails of a sexual content. They are offensive and should be monitored by AOL.

Improve blocking spam. No other email provider allows as much spam as AOL. It's ridiculous how much junk I have to delete on a daily basis. I had Verizon email and this is the only reason I'm stuck with AOL. As soon as I get the time I will switch to another provider.

Your filters no longer work and WHY is AOL allowing these hundreds of spam emails get thru to us?? I rarely get any NORMAL emails from people I know anymore, they get blocked yet ALL PORNOGRAPHIC REPETITIVE FILTH gets right thru! I have used up ALL FILTERS,ALL BLOCKS AVAILABLE BUT it does not stop and THE SAME THING I BLOCK, STILL COMES THROUGH yet my credit card company never can make it through. I have REALLY had it. This has gone on far too long, it only gets worse and I have to switch , I have used AOL for over 20 years, now it is just AWFUL AND YOU DON'T SEEM TO BE DOING ANYTHING to help at all, so now I have to call all my contacts/companies to change emails! Why do you no longer give a ****? Why don't the filters & blocks work on these sickening emails about ***** erections?? You want to see that? I DON'T! BLOCK KEY WORDS BEFORE THEY EVER HIT OUR ACCOUNTS! OR PERHAPS FLIP THE SWITCH TO ACTUALLY ACTIVATE THE BLOCKS!

AOL has the ability to identify Mass senders of Spam, and Stop them.
The fact that it is allowed indicates that AOL is either doing it,
or getting some financial or data kickback from it. Dirty Business Practices either way.
AOL Can Stop Spam, They Choose Not to. -
