keep getting spam from "blocked" senders
I keep getting SPAM in my folder from @kellykat.com. I've blocked these emails multiple time, but still they come. I'm getting more and more SPAM in my inbox, which I move to SPAM. You always ask if I want to "unsubscribe." I never subscribed to these domains. They are just trying to get AOL to give them legitimate email addresses. Wise up!
Hi. We're sorry to hear you're receiving spam emails! We have some solutions for you, please refer to this article to learn how to best manage unwanted emails: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-mail-spam-and-privacy We also added additional security features for AOL Mail: https://help.aol.com/articles/additional-security-features-in-aol-mail Moreover, the block feature is best used for people, not spam, since spammers can use spoofed accounts. This means, what you see and add to your blocked list might not be the actual sender address. If you need assistance, you can reach out to us at https://help.aol.com/contact/
Thank you!

SPAM FILTERS. it should not require so much work on my part to block and get rid of all of the garbage that is flooding my email, ie 30-40/day

The current limit of 1,000 addresses to be blocked is completely inadequate in this day and age as spammers find ways to constantly change their spam addresses. Please increase the limit SIGNIFICANTLY!!

But the spam is completely out of control for the past two weeks, to the point where I am about to abandon/cancel the account. Please deal with it, or contact me if you need someone who can for me, and the senior citizens.

After 20+ years of using AOL I am thinking about switching. I keep getting spam emails that until about a month ago would never get by.

Fix your spam filter. Can the spammers really be better than your tech department?

Mouse over to get SPAM sender URL does not work for the one on top of the list, and there is no explanation for the option "Search for messages for this sender".
Chose not to click the icon, since email was in SPAM folder and result may be opening a SPAM message.
BTW the Mouse Over not working for first has history of not working. -

We need either a repaired SPAM filter system or a new SPAM filter that's effective. This current one stopped working and ALL my SPAM is now in my New Mail Folder with NONE being diverted to the SPAM folder... What broke at AOL ???

This week, the amount of spam/phishing emails has increased tremendously. Many are coming from the same source just with different email addresses. By 8:30 AM this morning there were already almost 20 of them. If AOL cannot fix this -- and there are security tools out there can do this -- I'm just done and I've been a user since their inception.

Garbage company allowing over 300 spam emails in 4 days. Pathetic and deliberate

Way too many spam where they change one or more characters, so existing block doesn't stop it. Also, you limit the number of blocked addresses to 1000. I would fill the list in one week with the number of Spam Emails You Let Through!!! You need to fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You need to allow blocking of domains, not just individual addresses! Because of your data breach, I now get over 500 spam emails in just 3 or 4 days. -

Why are emails in the "new Mail" segment deleted without question, but the emails in the "Spam" segment are questioned before deleting.

They won't do a thing about this. They don't care, they permit it.

how is it possible to forward a spam email without opening, used the forward command from the drop down menu when right clicked the email address but this opened the email, this causes a number of issues, down load bad mailwear, tells spammer its a live address and then you get bombarded with more spam
