UNUSUAL ACTIVITY AT SIGN IN NEED VERIFICATION
Stop the DAILY WE HAVE NOTICED UNUSUAL ACTIVITY VERIFICATION! I get this daily!! So sick of it. There's no UNUSUAL activity! It's me, it's always me.....my internet just changes where I get my signal on daily basis!
Hi. If there's something unusual about your sign in or recent activity, we'll ask you to go through another verification step after you've entered the correct password. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access. You may be prompted to get a verification code on your AOL app, recovery phone number, or recovery email address for any of the following reasons:
AOL notices suspicious account activity.
You're using an unfamiliar browser or device.
You're traveling away from your usual location.
You sign in while using a VPN or a proxy server.
You've logged in with a private or incognito window.
There are many attempts to sign in with incorrect passwords.
The "First time signing in from this device" message appears.
You've cleared your browser history or data cache including cookies.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you! If you need additional help, please contact us on Twitter at @AOLSupportHelp or on Facebook at our AOL Customer Care page. If you do not have a social media account, we are available at help.aol.com.
Thank you,
AOL team

The change made to the sign-in process is tedious and truly ridiculous. If a new user wants to sign in, they have to go through extra, UNNECESSARY steps to sign in. So stupid. Put it back the way it was.

Stop asking for muti-layered verification. If someone has my phone, they receive the TOP SECRET code anyway...Useless step

Let me turn this security feature off. It is annoying. I've been using the same computer, plugged into the same ethernet connection for six years, and it just started having me answer a phone call and type in a code to login every time I want to check my mail. It never remembers me. This is annoying. Nothing important happens on this email address and I don't need that kind of security. It's not a feature, it's not a help, it's an annoyance.

I log on from the same location with the same computer I've used for years, but now AOL makes me verify my email address EVERY single time before I can log on. And they refuse to fix the problem unless I pay a ridiculous monthly fee for their premium service.

Stop with the phone verification for logging. I have **** cell service and will not get a text for this annoying feature that I thought was supposed to be turned off. And having another email for verification is even more stupid, as it requires a phone for verification. STOP.

Fix your message to say that you would also like to burden me with sending a code to my phone for more verification, even though the password I typed in was perfectly correct. I'm irritated enough that your security with just a password is not enough, and I have to take another step. But don't make me feel like I have to bother to change my perfectly good password. I almost didn't log in from my computer because it's such a hassle to change my password in all my devices' settings.

I'm tired of always having to verify myself via a code texted to me. If you want to do it once a month, fine, but every fracking day??? NO! I've signed into my email for over 20 years.......YES!! IT'S ME!! STOP WITH THE DAILY VERIFICATION!!!

I'm using the same computer every time, yet this 2-step verification insists that I enter a verification code...so clearly, it isn't recognizing my computer. The process is far too complicated and cumbersome. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops every single time.

Quit asking for the emergency code on every login. That is just lazy and stupid. Fix your ****.

HARASSMENT-every bleeping day you asking for code to sign in to my Fort Knox. I have to get up from breakfast (cats fed first) , take phone from charger just for your farscist totalitarian self-gratifying pompous idiocy to protect my Trash folder. Idiocy on steroids. We need total regime change to restore sanity. XI is not in my Trash folder.

I do not need a 2 Step sign-in I am by myself and do not have access to any other methods. I do not need anyone to help me sign in. It is my business as to how I can sign in!!!

TOTALITARIAN ABUSE OF POWER 9-25 asking users daily for verification code-idiocy on steroids. Stop harassing users asking daily for verification code-you are not financial institution but bleeping email. Also, we do not log in our credit card/bank accounts daily. Fix the issue unless you harassing users solely for racist or political reasons. Using VPN is a modern technology to protect account and we do not have to drop it for your atavistic convenience.

Stop asking users for verification code every time they log in-HARASSMENT
Since 9/9 AOL asking me for verification code every time I log in. I and Spectrum use Nord VPN-rolling vpn so AOL old technology can handle it. They harass users. They also want to regulate our travel - I log from too many locations-errands, medical office, beach, restaurants, car, occasional travel- all prohibited by AOL but never a problem with other emails providers. It looks like total dictatorship!523rd
