Opening email in new tab or new page are crucial to be able to see/compare several emails and/or write a new one while checking the others that could stay open in new tabs/windows... Please help us to put this possibility back, like it was before.

Critically important when trying to compare ideas in separate e-mails and possibly related them to, say, a word document.

In many situations it was great to be able to start and email and leave it open to work on in a separate window -- or to compose multiple related messages at the same time.
The new approach without popout windows doesn't work nearly as well. (The compact windows that overlay the main window are not nearly as helpful.)
