Delayed and repeating "New Mail Alert"
New mail that arrives typically is followed by a "New Mail Alert" sound. The new mail format delays these sounds for an extended period of time after the new mail is actually in the In Box. This fault is followed by repeating "New Mail Alerts" that sound after the first Alert has sounded...and then it sounds again....and again; for up to three minutes or more. This misleads users to re-check their mail, only to discover that no New Mail has arrived, since the last, already alerted mail has sounded. Please fix this delayed and often misleading alert duplication that interrupt and mislead users. Thank you.
