Inappropriate ads
Inappropriate ads- it looks like Google is closing some ads when I select that it's inappropriate. But then it just sends me more!!!!! I don't need to see half naked women in bathing suits. I AM a woman not a dude, so quit sending me this **** and when you say you listen, MEAN IT. DO SOMETHING!

The high CPU usage is easily observed on my computers with AOL open in one tab of Firefox with no ad blockers in use.

With AOL signed in to view my email, the activity level of my CPU is nearly a constant 100%. I am pretty sure that the rolling advertisements on the right side of my screen are using the CPU time. This causes me to close AOL. I don't mind the ads so much, but to make my computer otherwise unusable simply makes me avoid using AOL at all.

The fact that you have to dance to just get out of you patheic business postings is pathetic. It is like having a laberth to get to the exist that YOU purposely block with BS advertisement and some news... And that is stopping us from actually wanting A O L as a service...

Take your over aggressive and intrusive marketing to the streets to sell time shares, if you must -- NOT covering parts of my E-mail messages.

Telling me I have 2 car finance detected when I've never had car finance. This is spam not targeted advertising, which is horrific anyway.

This is annoying. A number of times, I have looked at an ad on the right side of the email screen. And when I go to click on it, the ad changes. This is annoying. Stick to the static ads.

Ads are overlaying parts of articles that I am trying to read. Never had a problem before. This must be somebodies idea of marketing.... aggravate people to sign up for ad free service or leave AOL.

Dear AOL.COM. For 2 days now I see ads appearing and occupying the bottom half of my email page. I have used ad blockers to no avail.
Please, I shall appreciate it if you could remove them for me.
Kind regards.

Block emails, ON THE HOST SIDE, which indicate that the end user has 'won a free' item.

You've added an advert banner right in the middle of the page! It's terrible and offensive! The only reason to do this is because of Corporate Greed and nothing to do with user experience.
Please REMOVE IT NOW. -

Is there a team for AOL that investigates such things so it doesn't happen to other people?

Why does AOL post banners or ad's for companies that show up as scams on the Better Business Bureau's website? I fell for a scam and paid money for a 250th US Anniversary for $48.98. Turns out the company is located in Hong Kong, but nothing is indicated on the purchase site where I bought the 250th US Anniversary hat, that the company is in Hong Kong. There isn't any indication that this company is fraudulent.
Something should be done to prevent this from people falling victim to such web pages that you display on AOL.
