Why does AOL post banners or ad's for companies that show up as scams on the Better Business Bureau's website? I fell for a scam and paid money for a 250th US Anniversary for $48.98. Turns out the company is located in Hong Kong, but nothing is indicated on the purchase site where I bought the 250th US Anniversary hat, that the company is in Hong Kong. Nor is there any indication that this company is fraudulent.

Something should be done to prevent this from people falling victim to such web pages that you display on AOL.

You are showing (Ad.) 'McAfee.com Activate licence now' as an ad. on my mail account. This is not McAfee and is probably a virus insertion. I cannot remove this. Help please.

Agree with many who do not want to see women half naked in ads with all of their backside showing. It is x-rated to many of us and should not be allowed. Many have children and great grandchildren using their computer as well as not having to be exposed to them, themselves. How does on stop them.

The AOL APP was updated 2 days ago and after the update, I keep receiving advertisements. This never happened before the update. Need help to fix.

I strongly agree !!! I hate these trashy garbage ads with these scantily dressed skanks in underwear and bras and rags of clothing . Then there is these ugly whores wanting to meet singles garbage . Criteo is generating this trash and everything I have done wont stop it. I now believe that AOL is shoving this **** in our face just to tick us off so we will sign up for ad blocking . Harrassment is what this is . AOL used to have great email ... NOT ANYMORE !!!

my idea is to make sure all sponsors know nothing is free, if they don't pay those who pay need to be reimbursed

AOL suddenly pops up a "do youi want to unsubscribe from this sender" box for some email.
This is HORRIBLE.
1. I know how to mark a sender as spam and that's all I need to do.
2. When I DO NOT WANT TO UNSUSBSCRIBE from a sender and respond NO, the next same sender email I open asks the stupid question again and again and again. This asinine.
3. When responding NO, aol should remember that user is safe (as far as I am concerned, and that's who counts). Better yet, have a setting to disable this annoying popup ;message.

And still these fake misleading scaremongering ads arrive, just variations on a theme

Please stop the inappropriate underwear and swimsuit ads. I have flagged them as inappropriate at least 50 times and they keep coming up daily. It's forcing me to use Gmail, and otherwise I prefer AOL. I completely understand the need for ad revenue, but serve ads for things I might actually purchase or at least dont offend users.

AOL, why do you allow ads (at the top of my emails) that are at best just lies and untruths and scaremongering and at worst are scams that will try and take bank details/money off users? Don't you police who places ads? Don't you take action against those placing misleading ads? I will not be clicking on any of this misleading clickbait garbage. It's the sort of thing I expect to find in the spam folder. Please stop those posting these ads.
