Please go back to Classic email. Why do you mess with what is already good? I do not have the time or interest for you to experiment on.
Stop using this format. Take a step back and fix your mistakes.

Even the old version display format has changed for the worse. I prefer to have an opened email in a separate window. Either version of the display is much more difficult than the earlier version. I am seriously thinking of just changing my email service.

So you do not even respond, just posting my comment? It will be a pain ********** to retain contacts when I move to gail, plus making the change with other sites I visit. Ridiculous!

new format cuts off some horizontal info. Old format please. If old format no longer available as an option I will go to gmail, so please be honest about availability as some portion of mail message is being cut off horizontally

Emails I "keep as new" just disappear without trace. Go back to the basic version please. We have a saying "If it aint broke don't try to fix it" !

I don't see much point in your having created the new format. Why am I having to click on relocated buttons and learn new patterns when the classic one was more efficient? Your having changed things so radically seems somewhat narcissistic to me. Come on AOL, let's be sensible about this error on your part.

I have a tab to return to basic mail, but when you use it it does absolutely nothing, it keeps the new format and I hate it, not to mention the ads at the top of the page.

Dear Product Support, You have plenty of feedback on this issue in the forum. When are you going to make an actual reply and do something about it? I too was force-switched to some kind of new Aol Mail, which does not work. It is not possible to enter line spacing with the Return key in any message I create. I found I can switch into "Basic" email (I think you call it Classic, but it is NOTHING like the AOL I had been using up to the switch this year). In Basic email, I can't do anything else, but I CAN enter a line space with the Return key. However, Basic email is unusable. Your New Email is unusable. So what do you have to offer? Thank you for your PROMPT attention to the many people who are complaining about this and similar problems all over the forum.

It seems this whole feedback thing is a sham. AOL, in its arrogance, believes people will just get used to the new system like they did the old one. Who cares if it's substandard (they would never admit to that, anyway)? Who cares what our customers think, right? I truly doubt these topics, and their comments, are being read. And the votes: irrelevant, as far as they're concerned. We are all tiny insignificant voices screaming at a sleeping giant, snoring in all its arrogant, unconcerned glory. Content in its ignorance.

Like so many things in society today, the changes are for the worst. I can't even send an email by clicking onto the senders name like I used to be able to before the change. If AOL is going to change things, make sure they are improvements. The recent changes are a disaster.

If I wanted a change from AOL I would have canceled and gotten a new account with another
email company that I don't have to pay for!!! They are FREE!
