This issue is currently under investigation, we appreciate your patience and understanding while our team finds a fix. As a workaround, the attachments can be downloaded using the Basic version of the webmail. To switch to the Basic version of the webmail, log in at mail.aol.com from a laptop/PC browser, click on Settings > More Settings then the option "Switch to basic Mail" will be on the left side.

When AOL is having technical difficulties, please send a notification, when possible.
Case in point...I was unable download email attachments yesterday. I spent 1 1/2 hours researching and trying various fixes until I realized it may be an AOL issue. I reached out to a fellow AOL member and he confirmed he was having the same issue. I'm sure I wasn't alone in trying in vain to fix this problem. A simple notification would have been appreciated.

Emails that are received and then forwarded to other recipients are arriving with no body content. Addressee headers, Subject Lines, etc. are intact. But the main content of these forwarded emails is blank, empty. Please fix this critical issue. Thank you.

After AOL tried to fix the download app, the preview does not work.
