EVERY username @ofefrdtops, @offeestor, @onlinesdeals [.com/.info/.net/.org] is SPAM. I get these a lot. Can I ask you not to send these to my Spam folder, or let me use a wild card(eg *@) for the username to block the ENTIRE domain. thx for your consideration

if you can see the ranking on blocked mail act on those 1

its to your advantage to increase the block number feature. so far i get more from yahoo people spoofing. since this is part of the family with this web site you could shut those down and increase efficiency for both misuse and lower the blocking problem.

Spam is out of control. There aren't enough filters to stop them all. I have tried adding things to block as word phrases and that doesn't help either. Please help stop them. Some of them are disgusting even in the subject line. Help us rid of them.

This. There should be no limits on blocks!!!
Also, I'm noticing when I leave my aol mail tab open I get more than triple the amount of spam compared to when I just check and log out. This is even the case on other aol emails I have that I have NEVER given out before- The only way this can be happening is if AOL itself is using "spam" as a means for ITS OWN advertising purposes.
Filters do not work, and have never worked.

Please consider increasing the number of BLOCKED email addresses. You currently cap the number of blocked addresses at 1,000. Due to the increased number of spam emails- PLEASE increase the number to unlimited

I just spent 27 minutes on AOL phone support trying to get a status update on this issue, and your representative hung up the phone? If you add up item #9, #49, #55, #98, and the one I posted #913- this is most likely your number one issue. Please provide an update. The volume of SPAM email is growing daily.

STEVE FITZPATRICK commented
How can we obtain a status update on this issue?
-
STEVE FITZPATRICK commented
I notice this issue is listed several times under slightly different titles. In addition to the this item ranked number 9, please add ranked item number 49, 56 and 913.....I believe this would become your NUMBER ONE issue.

SO once again aol is starting again to allow offensive email in my email, for along time no issue but now they turn down the blockage of these email and does nothing about them.

I know to view the raw message, do a search for the IP address, find the location and carrier and there is usually an "abuse" email which you can use to report the spammer. I believe I was up to almost 100 per day and I cut it down considerably. Now a huge site has been hacked with millions of emails and I was one of them. The spammers have been returning with many from fr which I believe is France. It is very time consuming to go through so many steps. Can't you do anything to help us? Thank you!

Once again yet another issue that's ignored and remains unresolved... BUT let's pretend and gather feedback... Although it could be that there's no one left to do anything...

I probably have 100 email addresses block for duckdns.org and more are coming every day. Offeestor.com and offeestor.net are joining the band wagon of domains changing email addresses constantly. The use of wildcards to block entire domains and even subdomains is critical!
-
STEVEN BENNER commented
Allowing the use of wildcards would give me the ability to block entire domains. There are some spam senders who now are changing the username for each new message. This very quickly makes the 1000 email address blocking limite meaningless as well as blocking by exact address no longer feasible. Is there some financial incentive for allowing all these spam messages?

ANITA FAIR commented
Why don't AOL just block the most obvious spam instead of sending it to my spam folder? If AOL aren't prepared to do that, why can't AOL allow wild cards, i.e. info@*,?

IM SICK TO DEATH OF HAVING TO EMPTY 20 OR MORE SPA EMAILS EVERY SINGLE DAY, MAJORITY OF THEM ARE FROMTHE SAME SENDER STARTING WITH new-offer, ive a 1,000 of these new-offers blocked and still getting them as they add multiple different numbers, i tried adding the filters you offer to put all emails with new-offer into a seperate folder but thats not worked at all, non get put into the seperate folder. surely something needs to be done against these scammers sending millions of emails everyday. if i was an email provider such as aol i would be contacting the email providers these spammers use and threaten to fine them if they continue, surely it cant be that hard

Gordon MacWilliam commented
90% of my current spam addresses begin with "new-offer", yet I cannot use this phrase as a wildcard.

commenting in hopes it increases visibility and moves it up in ranking as the top 10-20 all complain about the same thing (reverting to classic mail). as to spam 1000 limit, if it allowed blocking the DOMAIN and not just the specific email address that would help by 10-fold.
