UNUSUAL ACTIVITY AT SIGN IN NEED VERIFICATION
Stop the DAILY WE HAVE NOTICED UNUSUAL ACTIVITY VERIFICATION! I get this daily!! So sick of it. There's no UNUSUAL activity! It's me, it's always me.....my internet just changes where I get my signal on daily basis!
Hi. If there's something unusual about your sign in or recent activity, we'll ask you to go through another verification step after you've entered the correct password. This helps protect your account from unauthorized access. You may be prompted to get a verification code on your AOL app, recovery phone number, or recovery email address for any of the following reasons:
AOL notices suspicious account activity.
You're using an unfamiliar browser or device.
You're traveling away from your usual location.
You sign in while using a VPN or a proxy server.
You've logged in with a private or incognito window.
There are many attempts to sign in with incorrect passwords.
The "First time signing in from this device" message appears.
You've cleared your browser history or data cache including cookies.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you! If you need additional help, please contact us on Twitter at @AOLSupportHelp or on Facebook at our AOL Customer Care page. If you do not have a social media account, we are available at help.aol.com.
Thank you,
AOL team

If I know the password, then I do not need some BS verifying code

You have the WORST email in the universe and you constantly make it worse by harassing your customers with 2-step idiocy.

AOL still stupid

Verification codes are pointless. If I have the password than I will most likely have hacked their phone

I hate having to constantly verify I am signing in. If this was a business, that may be a good thing, but this is just my home email.

Just use established password and stop saying it's invalid!!

I don't want to have to log in to my Gmail every time to get access to my AOL account.

Every time I log in to my AOL Mail, it requires me to enter a code from a different email before I can get in. What is the use to have an AOL email account if I have to have another one somewhere in order to get into yours?

The change made to the sign-in process is tedious and truly ridiculous. If a new user wants to sign in, they have to go through extra, UNNECESSARY steps to sign in. So stupid. Put it back the way it was.

Stop asking for muti-layered verification. If someone has my phone, they receive the TOP SECRET code anyway...Useless step

It's email, not a bank.

What good is a EMAIL if it takes for ever to Log In to AOL, then Log In to Gmail Wait for code then take code back to AOL insert Code Hit enter then go to read your mail. WHY!!!!

I am Stay Signed in every time I log in but it doesn't matter as When I try to log in the next day I have to verify all back over. There should just be a simple, easy to find box I can check to un-verify to log in. What good is a email if it takes you for ever just to log in each time you just want to read a email.

- Dears.
- Why sometimes you offer a Whatsapp account as confirmation to log in if I don't have one?
- This is worrying me, please let me know if you have found an account in my name.
- Yours, - Cunha. -

I didn't change devices. I just signed out because I have two emails. I do not want to have to sign in on an alternate device just to sign in on my computer. Stop forcing these Harassing emails you Liberals.
