two-step verification phone calls are not coming through

Lately I can't get a phone call with my sign-in code unless I wait a minute and tell it to RESEND code. Then it works. This happens every time now. What's the problem here?

    My issue is the continual need to get a Verification Code...Don't want to go on a cell phone hunt every time I log in, and what makes this ridiculous is...All anyone needs is my cell phone # and Viola !! instant access to my account. AOL needs wake up...

    When I choose a phone call for two-step verification it takes me to the next page that says "we will TEXT you a code" and nothing happens. I must wait 50 seconds before I can "resend" code, then I get the phone call., I've brought this up THREE times now, Does anyone read these posts? Can someone fix the problem?
