These ads for weed killers are annoying and, to me, really push the boundaries of what is permissible.
I don't want to see things like that, and I certainly don't want to buy them!!!

Take the Ads out of the INBOX! You got rid of the slimmed down version of AOL/MAIL, all you needed to do was increase Font options!! Ugghhhh Who thought up this new version??????

I strongly object to ads with sound. We have ads on the side, ads on the message stream. Ads with sound interfere with sound on other tabs.

It is very irritating to have this right hand box forcing stupid ads as I'm trying to check my email. Please stop this new gimmick. I've had AOL since the very beginning, but if you continue blasting these ads on me, I will switch full-time to google, who does not bother me in such a way on my email page. Thank you!

Wondering why my message is so slow to type for an outgoing email. I think the ads that are downloading to the right of my mail area are causing it. Please take the ads away when I'm constructing email. So irritating.

HEY AOL, AND FIX THE SPAM PROBLEM IN YOUR EMAIL SYSTEM!! Your system has allowed over 50 to 100 SPAM EMAILS per day into my SPAM Folder! Some of the SPAM EMAILS are highly offensive, e.g. from rodriguw@test.exclusiveeoffers.org Subject: Subject: 🥵 𝙄 𝙒𝘼𝙉𝙏 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙏𝙊 𝙁𝙐𝘾𝙆 𝙈𝙀 𝙃𝘼𝙍𝘿 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝘿𝙀𝙀𝙋 … 𝙄’𝙈 𝙎𝙊 𝙃𝙊𝙍𝙉𝙔💦𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙀 𝙁𝙐𝘾𝙆 𝙈𝙀 🥵. I do not have the time nor the patience to screen my SPAM Folder daily in order to block these and other offensive emails!
With today's technology, I am surprised that AOL has not taken steps to block these types of emails completely from your AOL System! TAKE ACTION NOW; I know that I am not the only person who feels this way and has this problem!!

I too see ads that appear as emails. Some of them are personally offensive to me and I don't want to see them, for example, ads for 'Hillsdale College' which I find greatly offensive. How can I set my preferences/settings so that I don't see ads from this advertiser?

One simple person's comments about improvements to aol is not important because decisions of the president of the united states are also ignored. So, everything is just electronic mumbo jumbo wasting electricity that operates my electronics device.

Stop putting ads into the email list. You don't allow us to delete them and it is almost worse than spam.

For years Microsoft has placed Deceptive Ads disguised as something of interest, (or something distasteful you want to remove) but now they not only place these ads, but even if you just try to remove the ad, it says "You Clicked On A Deceptive Ad", NO! I clicked on the Box that should mark it as the Item I want deleted from my screen. I DID NOT attempt to open the Ad. Microsoft then Demands that you call their number and they will fix the problem. The problem is that this Ad has locked the computer controls & screen demanding you call Microsoft & FOR A LARGE SUM OF MONEY they will fix & restore your computer. IT's time for AOL to STOP ALLOWING THESE KINDS OF ADS, you are complicite in this SCAM! Users have paid Thousands of dollars, maybe Hundreds of Thousands of dollars since this has been a SCAM Aol has allowed for at least 20 years in one form or another. If not, then maybe you'd prefer a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT?!?
