UNLIMITED SPAM BLOCKING!!! YOU HAVE NOT FIXED IT!!!

The "sex **** emails can be sent to spam. They should be blocked immediately.
Blocking should be adjusted regularly since most of that SPAM is sent by 'people" that change their emails frequently. Finally, any email from a source that has a list of nonsense numbers and letter should automatically be blocked. Why should a legitimate user have to go through 100+ spam items daily to retrieve the few legitimate emails that may make it to spam by error.
About the blocked items in general. There is a limit on that list, which can be reached in less than two weeks, but can only be purged one by one, a task that could take hours.

When I have set up filters to prevent trashy sexual content, which I find offensive, and I still get many many of those emails even though the words in the filter appear in the subject of the email, I don't know why. Am I doing something wrong? Please let me know so that I can stop the offensive emails.

In the week that I made my comment, the spam messages in my Spam folder have gotten even more brutal! I can't stop them but AOL can. Do I need to list some of them here so you know what I'm talking about? I have to check my spam folder to assure nothing I wanted landed there.

I have to check my spam folder just in case something lands there that shouldn't. While there, I am subjected to a vast array of raunchy sex emails with explicit captions and names. There must be a way you can stop these things from even getting out to folk's inboxes. Why won't you do that?

It appears that complaints posted here have been ignored. Some go back years but I still receive many. Many, like those advertising for sex, *********** and other content, are very inappropriate. Please do something about it. It seems like this site is a waste of tying and time.

P.S. My "block sender" list might not be so full if I could block entire DOMAINS and not just individual ADDRESSES. A lot of these obscene spammers will send from several somebodys@samedomain

AOL does not allow you to block a domain (that is, the part after the "@").
Actually, there is a place to do this but it does not work - you can type in a domain you wish to block but it does not block the domain. -

I will "block senders" to the worst offenders (mostly, this means X-RATED ****) in my spam in order to better see if there are any useful emails that were misdirected into spam. Periodically, the "block senders" option will fail to appear in the menu or, if I select it, will give me a message that AOL is unable to add the offending address to my "block" list. Why? It's like AOL is PROMOTING ****, because it's those emails that I have a problem blocking.
Hey, AOL, if you don't think other readers should be seeing a PG-word for an X-rated subject, why aren't you doing anything to spare me from seeing the X-rated words in my subject line, even in my spam folder?

Yes, this 1,000 block limit is now an issue for me too. Like others have said, being able to block an entire domain would be better. Other email providers can do this.
