Include horizontal page breaks and icon to include pictures in email
I send out a newsletter to the remaining veterans and their families of a WWII unit. I dislike the changes made to the AOL software. Before I could access a horizontal page break to separate the articles I send out but cannot find access to that feature on this new software. In addition, there used to be an icon to incorporate photos but that option is not available either. The changes are very frustrating and do not serve my needs!

keeping oldest on top
When I set the option to "Oldest on top," I want it to stay that way. I don't want it switching back to "Newest on top." Annoying.

you combined my aol mail with my wife's - diffeerent name- different passwords- Different sexes!! DUH!! WIFE- HUSBAND!!!
you direct MY wife's name to my account--- I called AOL but you want to CHARGE US FOR YOUR MISTAKE!!!- nOW EVERYTIME I WANT TO GET INTO MY ACCOUNT- i HAVE TO CALL AND GET A CODE!! wE ARE NOT ONE PERSON-- WE EACH HAVE OUR OWN NAMES AND PASSWORDS!!!!! Email Search
Please, when searching for emails sent to an individual, ensure those emails also show up. Presently, you only show emails the person sent to the AOL subscriber. You do not show emails the subscriber sent to the individual.

Email Search needs improvement
When searching for emails I send to someone (janedoe@aol.com) it will not show. It will only show emails janedoe sent. Pls allow the search to also show emails I (the aol subscriber) sent to her as well.

Offer basic customer support for free or provide accurate info. in aol help.
Not requiring a paid account to answer a simple question like how to delete a contact. AOL's online help is of no help - there is no More option icon so I can then delete the contact.. Ive decided to go with another email account when I get a new computer and move to another state. All I need is simple email - nothing else. While your lifelock and other services could be usefull, why would I stay with AOL if this is how you 'help' your customers.

Put back ability to use outlook or other 3rd party mail apps. this means either disable the secondary password generator or get it working again

problem
I posted a problem when the new upgrade went live. The problem is I can not always print my emails. Information is missing in the printing. This is a big problem and you said that you were working on the problem. Wondering if you still are working on the problem because it is still a big issue.

I must be able to sort by name of sender or I will not use the new format.
I receive a lot of emails and keep many to view or delete later. I sort by name and then decide if I want to keep or discard emails in groups. Without this ability it will take a very long time to do this.

I want to know how many emails I have. Why did you take that away? There was NOTHING wrong with the other format.

signature photos do not work properly, cannot put company logo next to name in signature.

How to read two emails on same screen???
Sometimes you need to have two emails (or more) on screen to sort out something. Seems the layering of emails is with AOL Gold older versions. (it's been at least 1-2 yrs)

Multiple clicks to open an e-mail
I'm really tired of needing to click on an e-mail twice to open it. I click on the message, then the subject line shows by itself in a new screen, then I need to click on it a 2nd time to actually open the e-mail. EXTREMELY IRRITATING!

colors
COLORS suck!! So many people have commented about this. Why haven't you done something??? Please improve the colors by offering standard normal deep colors.

pg down/pg up buttons
Please let the "Page Down" and "Page Up" buttons refer to the e-mail I am currently reading, not to the list of e-mails. But if it has to be in the list of e-mails for some people, don't add it to a never-ending list of features. This is because one fewer feature is worth more than convenience. Nice talking to you. P.S. Forums suck!

10/12/23 ARRGH! GRRR! AOL says I can now customize default settings in Writing Email. INSTRUCTIONS R WORTHLESS
OMG AOL! Get it together! You emailed me that I can now customize default settings for writng emails - Well the instructions given are WORTHLESS! The preview is for Signature only which I don't ever use anyway. I see no change whatsoever in the body of the email. THAT'S what I want customized default settings for!
