I NEVER TURNED ON TWO-STEP VERIFICATION, BUT HAD TO USE TWO-STEP VERIFICATION, WHICH WAS OFF!
If I wanted two-step verification, I WOULD HAVE SET IT UP! So how was it "Off" but I still had to use it? Two-step is a joke and NOT as secure as it's made out to be. Count me OUT!

E-mail
having problems with retrieving my e-mail. unable to open New Mail. I click on New Mail and the screen just turns blank, even though the New Mail icon shows that there are a number of e-mails waiting to be opened. thank you for your attention. hope this problem is cleared up soon.

show messages with attachments on message list with an icon
Outlook shows a paperclip icon on messages that have attachments. AOL Mail needs to do something similar so we know to beware when opening. Or when searching it's obvious which ones we're looking for.

Spam mail with brackets
The spammers have found that if they put brackets, or other types of symbols around their email, it bypasses the filters. They simply change symbols. The spams filters should block ALL emails with symbols used in the address.

Ad Free AOL (limited reading room)
Are you people trying to drive away customers!? First it was "new AOL" which everyone hates. Thousands have asked you to restore Classic AOL email and you have ignored us.
Now you have cut down our reading area by over half to make room for Ads. I can barely read my email.
Also, what's with the icon? If I click on an email I want to see where I can delete it or move it. I don't want to have to bother with stupid little icons.
What did you do, hire a bunch of ex-Disney employees to ruin your brand???

New mail not arriving even though sender is in contact list.
I am not receiving emails from three senders, all of whom are accurately posted in my contact list. In the past, I did receive emails from them but suddenly the emails stopped arriving. Not in spam, not in trash. Nowhere to be found. Very troubling. Also, some new mail ends up in spam even though senders are acccurately listed in contact list. I always check spam and click on "not spam". And sometimes mail already in new mail will suddenly disappear and show up in spam. A real mess.

This new email is so awful & confusing. When responding to an email the sender's email gets in the way. While we need change, that is not one of things that need changing.

Several of my recurring emails of many years now no longer are served by AOL. Not delivered as informed by the link administrator. Why?

Contact List Problem
