old email version
This new email version sucks. Instead of one small column on the left with files, and the rest being email, it switched to 3 wide columns, and today a 4th. My email list is about 2" wide. THIS IS HORRIBLE!!! I'd opened a GMail account years ago but don't use it. If this isn't fixed soon I'm just moving over to Gmail. This is too hard to read, and the useless other columns/boxes just make it hard to read my inbox, and to type emails - it's just a really bad choice that needs to be re-thunk. I've don't lots…

show email ADDRESSES, not aliases in mail list
There is no way to show the actual sender ADDRESS in the new "improved" mail window. This makes it impossible to verify a sender or identify phishing scams.

cursor size
Cursor Size: despite having an easily-visible cursor on my Linux Ubuntu desktop, when I open AOL MAil (or Zoho Mail), the cursor is tiny, faint, and very hard to see. Changing the size on the Desktop makes no difference. It would be great if AOL Mail allowed the user to choose the cursor size, shape and colour to suit them!

Please fix the bug that causes the email highlight to move down a dozen lines on the New Mail page after closing read emails. This bug misleads users to see the 12th or so line of New Mails as the most current or most recently received email.

Post server and service problems, and major changes, so we can anticipate outages
Other large companies have a dashboard that shows the status of their various services. Can't you have something like that, so we don't have to rely on sites like DownDetector that show problems across the country, when they may only affect specific regions, or specific services.

Marking emails safe and stop delaying them for 12 hours
Your Spam detector keeps blooking emails that I receive from customers every day. It also holds it for 12 hours before sending it and then has a red highlighted area that says
CAUTION: This email originated from outside the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
What happened to the CLICK HERE IF YOU KNOW IT IS SAFE option? it was on the old mail system for years - I need my reports on time not 12 hours later or in the spam folder.

Can you initiate an interim re-login without completely kicking me out?!
I sort of understand that you want to make sure logins are fresh for security reasons, esp for those of us who remain logged in for days at a time. The problem is that you simply kick me out to force a re-login, which is lazy and unnecessary. I'm working, I've got several items open, and I've got a contingent of 6-8 searches on tabs across the top (love that feature by the way) that I reference often. I will often launch a search as a reminder for something I need to address but don't have time at the moment…

Date/Time stamp: I would like to see the entire date/time stamp on all my emails even the current day emails. Instead of "Today 2:27 pm" or "Yesterday 3:52 pm" NO.... I want to see "09/20/23 2:27 pm" or "09/19/23 3:52 pm"

regular expressions in filters
Add Regular Expression function to Filters.
Regular Expressions are essentially a user-accessible programming language that makes Filters more precise/accurate/powerful.
For example, "John" is not the same as "John Smith", but, if I ask for "John", I get both, plus "John Jones", etc. But, "^John$" means just "John" on the line.
RegEx may also significantly speed up AOL's processing and reduce the number of filters people want, which reduces AOL's processing load. For example, "Home *Warranty" (notice the " *" which matches zero or more spaces) matches "HomeWarranty", "Home Warranty", and "Home Warranty". This is very useful for rerouting junk mail…
