Downloading Emails - Need how Old AOL did it back
In the older versions of AOL, there was an option to Download an entire Email as a PDF.file.
Another Option was to Select and Download Some or ALL embedded images.This has been missing from Gold. Saving an email in AOL format only on either AOL or in a Local aol folder leaves it still in AOL format and not sufficient.

e-mail header and footer printing
Appears new AOL Gold update now prints a header (ie date and subject) and a footer (ie mailbox and page) when you print an email and the only way to turn off is to use print preview first and turn headers and footers off which is very time consuming but necessary to avoid the juvenile and unprofessional headers and footers from being printed by default. Better to have such headers and footers to be turned off by default. Otherwise, AOL Gold should be like AOL Online where the e-mail header contains a list of the files attached and only adds…

SAVING an EMAIL
Evidently the "SAVE" on the bottom border is not working..

Why do you keep old mail on file that I have permanently deleted? As much as 4 or 5 days ago.
If want to delete a bunch of mail at one time: go to "EDIT","SELECT ALL". All mail will be highlighted to be deleted.

Store emails on our PC rather than on AOl Desktop Gold.
AOL tech support reinstalled AOL desktop gold on my computer. All of the emails that I had saved under the folder "save on my PC" from August 2017 to present were not there. I have contacted tech multiple time since discovering this issue. Many were not able to understand the problem. The last person understood the problem and told me that the email files were not saved on my PC but rather on AOL Desktop Gold. He believed that the files were still there someplace but that the tech support personnel in his office had no way of knowing were…

Improve your account verification process! I recently bought a new computer, installed AOL Desktop Gold and then you folks wouldn't allow me to use my email and sent me a verification code for security purposes at my recovery Gmail address. I entered the verification code into AOL Desktop Gold and instead of just accepting it and bringing me to my AOL email, a pop up appeared insisting I secure my account and reset my password. What's the point of a verification code to a recovery email address if you're going to force me to reset my password anyway?… -

it takes time to load the email in desktop gold i go to read on the upper left corner and then it takes longer than usual to load. AOL tech support already reinstalled and checked task manager on computer but issue still persists.

The most recent update to AOL seems to have made an undesirable change to Spell Check. In the past, Spell Check would identify and hilight p
Fix spell check so that it only highlights potential errors when sending an email (as it used to do), instead of highlighting each and every word for my review. This change seems to have been made automatically in the most recent update to AOL, and cannot be rectified by either myself or your customer support technicians. According to the technician, this will have to fixed in another update. Please accomplish this ASAP. Thanks.

send out emails to those of us who pay for the desktop service when things change. For instance, you just changed how you show email coming
AOL has made changes to the way mail shows in the mail box, without notification to those of us who pay the $4.99 fee. Please send out notifications so we know these are 'changes' and not 'glitches'. We had to submit a 'bug' to find out this was new. It's alarming to see changes and not know if it's broken or working as designed.

It seems that often when aol comes up with a "new" plan/idea like two years ago when you rearranged MY favorites, they were forever messed up and I was unable to use them as I had previously. I wish you wouldn't waste time putting "This folder is empty" signs in an obviously blank folder. Instead you could restore the service of saving images from e-mail that I really used. This nice service has been missing too long. -

Two issues to take under advisement. The verification process is very laborious, had to identify literally a hundred images to progress through the AOL system all to verify why my password was not being acknowledged. Of greater importance: Please tweak the Desktop Gold software to allow the customer to ADD ADDITIONAL FONTS on the drop down menu . As everyone is very sensitive to branding the feature on the previous iteration allowed us in marketing, graphic design to gear our email correspondence to the visual sensibilities of our clients and reflect our own corporate identity BETTER.and more accurately.
