Store emails on our PC rather than on AOl Desktop Gold.
AOL tech support reinstalled AOL desktop gold on my computer. All of the emails that I had saved under the folder "save on my PC" from August 2017 to present were not there. I have contacted tech multiple time since discovering this issue. Many were not able to understand the problem. The last person understood the problem and told me that the email files were not saved on my PC but rather on AOL Desktop Gold. He believed that the files were still there someplace but that the tech support personnel in his office had no way of knowing were the data was stored and how to retrieve it. Have the ability to save emails in folders has no benefit if tech support is not able to retrieve them when AOL does not upload them back into the folders.
