For 23 years I've used the name Judith to post on forums. I am designated by AOL as @Judith1277, lives in Des Plaines IL, works at retired. Since the advent of Gold I have lost my blue star and leader designation except where it shows up in my profile under Activity (not on the forums, however) and there are three or four other people posting as Judith - nothing else, no number after Judith, nothing, and I've received emails from friends wondering why I've changed my stance on issues. NEW GOLD IRRITATING FEATURE
past two days windows will not hold size or position - can we permanently add this to all Gold's irritating , user unfriendly , biased , + totally useless new features ?
ie. poor site performance - worst email in industry - no local news - worst favorites organization on web - useless tech support - biased , outdated , + inaccurate news coverage - Aol topic defaults on welcome page - uncaring customer service - and the list gets longer every day !

Forwarding E-Mails
the current procedure is extremely awkward and lengthy. The previous version was simple and efficient. It takes 5-6 steps to forward an email compared to two for the previous version. I am seriously considering getting a new internet provider. I have been with AOL for 20 years.

browser should show progress. Sometimes you think it is frozen , so you refresh , and it screws up the whole session.
At the bottom it should show the web address and if it is making progress or stuck, because the website sucks or the browser is stuck. If you jump the gun and refresh some secure websites make you go through new verification **** to get back in.

There is nothing wrong on my end and therefore I do not want to call an AOL technician for this who will give me the run-around. I immediatelywent to the same page on 2 other browsers when I got this virus threat using AOL -- and both browsers opened the page fine with no virus threats.

this is so stupid - to send an email to a group 1) prepare the email (ok), 2) go to "Mail" menu and click on address book, 3) find the group name in the left column - click on it, 4) run the mouse to the group of names that have popped up in the middle section, 5) highlight every name in the group - (Ctrl A works) 6) click on "CC" or "BCC" on the address book page. 7) close the address book 8) check the email to make sure the addresses have populated the email page. Why can't you fix urgent problems that everyone is complaining about?
Aol keeps making these small unimportant fixes but they don't attend to the crucial ones that is making everyone miserable. Things that have been reported since Gold started are still unfixed/unchanged.

AOL refuses to recognize on all other browsers!
I went to Chrome, since you refuse to sync adobe flashplayer with your platform, but I still wanted to use AOL for News stories and to get my mail; but YOU REFUSED TO RECOGNIZE ME WHEN I TRIED TO SIGN IN! THAT IS NOT OKAY, AND IF YOU DON'T FIX IT, I WILL FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! You have no right to block me and my mail from a browser other than yours!
