  2. Forwarding E-Mail from Indiana University E-Mail Address to AOL E-Mail Address

    I have been an AOL subscriber since I went online, over 25 years ago. I have also been an adjunct professor of law at Indiana University's McKinney School of Law over that same time period. For the convenience of both myself and my students, I have always forwarded e-mail sent to my IU e-mail address to one of my AOL screen names, **@aol.com.

    However, following my usual practice in preparation for the new academic year which will start this next week, I tested the forwarding feature last week. Much to my chagrin and disappointment, it no longer worked. Instead, I…

  5. Problems with receiving "Next Door" emails.

    For the past three weeks, I haven't received any updates from "Next Door". I have checked with Next Door. They say they are not having problems. I checked my settings on Next Door and they haven't changed.

  6. imbeded pictures

    pictures inserted don't always come through when I get an email from friends. If i go to another browser and aol.com they come through fine. What'sup after I know my settings are right I checked and double checked. This needs to be fixed soon or I'll have to get rid of AOL after all these years. It's always screwed up when they make these big changes like this. They should cross their t"s and dot their i's before they do these updates.

  7. Fix the email so when you delete the mail you opened so it doest fade into the mail box

    fix the mail box when you open a new mail then close it. It will fades into the mail box and takes forever to go away. Then it tells me AOL is not responding. Also when you try to open a new mail it will not open until the ad loads Which sometimes take a while and you set there and wait. You spend a'lot of time waiting on the ads to load very upsetting.

  9. EMail Time Zones

    Time Sent/Received. Can someone explain why my emails still show Standard time not Daylight Saving Time? Why wasn't there an automatic update? The times appear to be correct but all sent/incoming show Standard time.

  10. What the Heck is going on????? Can't open some of my mail finding duplicate address in my address book and then some of them aren't right

    Some of my emails are coming up blank have to click 2 or 3 times. Finding duplicate addresses in address book and some of them are omitting letters or numbers or extra letters and numbers have been added. If it not one thing its another why can't you get your ---- together and give us what we pay for? AOL from **** ever since new people took it over. This is bull

  12. Can't view pictures my sent pictures.

    I can send Emails with pictures to friends and they get them fine, however when I open them the writing is fine but the pictures are tiny icons that won't open. This is brand new. What happened?

    I send a mail this afternoon. I know I did because she responded. I want some info from that mail and look at SENT MAIL. It's not there. :(
    I delete a few things. I know I did because they're not there any more. Go to RECENTLY DELETED and they are not there. :(
    I'm losing important info because of AOL GOLD.
    Dump it or fix it.

  14. Mail is messed up and it happened on 5/6

    Mail changed yesterday (5/6) so the subject is on the rightmost side and is very inconvenient and annoying. When my mail initally deploys, the subject is in teh correct spot but then blinks and shifts to the right side. Don't know what you guys did but it messes me up big time. Tried to access "AOL Help" and the person tried several things and nothing worked. You people must have done something on 5/6 to mess up mail but I, for one are very unhappy. Turn it back the way it was!

  16. blocked email

    I have been having work emails forwarded to AOL. Recently they are being blocked with message "users mailbox is quarenteened" meaning AOL rejected it. Would be coming from Microsoft Outlook mail account. Then it is followed by PAGES of gobblegook then the message is at the bottom (the one it said was blocked)

  17. My AOL Desktop Gold is not working

    I noticed there are others who cannot use their AOL Desktop. It freezes up when I login to AOL through AOL Gold, and the only way I can even get on is to go through Firefox. What is going on? I liked the old AOL better. They really messed up AOL. I have been with for over a decade.

  18. Generating end of word before you finish typing

    Why when typing an email, the software generates the end of the word before you finish typing ..thus when you finish typing the letters are duplicated
